The ink pit is a great place to get work done. The artists are great people and they do awesome work. I've had 2 tattoos done there. The sister done one and the brother done the other and I would refer anyone to them. I will definitely go back.

I received a tattoo when I was a teenager. I had a couple questions about darkening my tat myself or having them fix it for me.
...I called The Inkpit hoping for some answers but the lady I spoke with was extremely rude and then hung up on me. Angry place to call if you have any questions about your old tattoos.

Wanted a cover up done. Didn’t get what I wanted but was explained to the reason why and working on a budget, I ended up getting a very beautiful tattoo that exceeded my expectations! The wait time was 6 hours (if we lived in summersville it would of been no issue at all) but that’s my only complaint! I absolutely love my tattoo and plan on going back for more work! I've been going to The Ink Pit for all my piercings recently and plan to get another tattoo here also. The shop is very organized and clean, the staff is beyond friendly and extremely knowledgeable at what they do not to mention the talent of the artists . I'd give this place a 20 outta 10

Potential customers beware, if you have a service dog you will be turned away at the door. They are not willing to talk to you or reason with you. I went in to price a touch up, and didn't even get to say why I was there. I walked in and all three artists turned to me and said no dogs allowed. I tried to explain the law concerning service dogs, and was promptly cut off saying that it didn't matter. Who I assume is the owner or boss said that it was a sterile area and so it didn't matter what the law was. He then came to walk me out the door that I was maybe two steps away from. I would suggest they contact the ADA hotline or even just read on the website. Turning away customers due to having a disability and needing medical equipment is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Love my experience here! Spencer has done 2 of my tattoos and about to do a 3rd, as well as pierced my nose. Any idea I have gave him with a tattoo, he exceeds my expectations, with not only his art work but his good company as well. We definitely tries to make the process as painless as he can. Spencer did my tattoo yesterday and he was professional, Friendly, Easy going, very courteous, very gentle not rough at all and takes his time and most definitely a wonderful tattoo artist as is his Mom, Dad, and Sister. I'm very Happy and absolutely loving my tattoo Looks just like my Dog I couldn't be more happy about my tattoo than I am right now I'm so in love with my tattoo and so amazed how he took a pic of my dog and draws him out perfectly and the end result is absolutely fantastic. Thank You Spencer I appreciate you doing this for me I really enjoyed getting my tattoo from you it's beautiful and perfect, Thank you again This Tattoo means a lot to me and my family.
