Wild Card Tattoo Shop

Typically I never leave bad reviews, but I don’t want anyone to end up with what’s on me. I’ve debated making this review for a long time but i’m just so unhappy with my tattoo. I’ve seen these guys once before getting my sleeve, on Friday the 13th and loved my small tattoo given so I decided to go back. I paid $300 for this tattoo, including the tip and this is what I received. I got this tattoo almost a year ago now and it isn’t even fully healed yet. The lines are so thick, and my skin is completely scarred over. Worst line work i’ve ever seen, bumpy, patchy, lazy. I’ve seen apprentices do better. This is now stuck on my body forever. I really like these guys as people but they have no talent when it comes to tattoos. Unless you’d like a tattoo as messed up as mine, be my guest but this is permanent and I cannot remove this from my body ever. The healed tattoo looks works then it did right after we finished. I’m so disappointed and had such high expectations for these guys after loving my first flash tattoo. So let me take one for the team, and warn you all to not get tattoos here. I hope they feel ashamed and horrible about what my arm now looks like now, this isn’t acceptable.

Went in today to get some more work done on a tattoo that I am having done by Rodney. I have to tell you that every time I go in to Wild Card the shop is extremely clean. The guys are super cool and really want you to be happy with their work. They listen to your wants and try very hard to get exactly what you want done. Environment is great and I highly recommend this place.

Okay so I have been wanting to get a moon tattoo for a little while. My usual artist was booked up until October so I decided to go on a limb and try out here. I got a moon tattoo and a star about the size of a quarter. The lines on the moon were very thick and bumpy and the star does not look like a star as of right now. I am now waiting until October to get it touched up with my artist.

The people were very nice, I am just sad with how my moon turned out.

I went in for 2 tattoos and was extremely happy with how they turned out and how he put together the colors he added. I love my tats. I will go back for more very soon

Most talented Artists. I explained what I wanted and he promptly drew up the sketch. My tattoo turned out beautifully. Referred friends and family to them. I will be back again very soon. Clean, professional, talented, and by far the best Tattoo company I’ve ever been to.

Rodney did three beautiful bumblebees for me and they turned perfectly. He was efficient, professional and light handed. I have dozens of tattoos and have had a variety of experiences, ranging from the worst to the absolute best. This shop is worth a visit.

The most horrible business practice I have ever experienced. Google will show you they are open at noon, they will acknowledge that Google says they are open at noon, but they don't think it necessary to change that or maybe install a voice mail to let you know that they don't open until 3. I wasted 2hrs and 40 miles of driving with zero apology.

I specifically went to this shop because their artist, Rodney Schoeder, did a piece for me in January of 2018 that I was very happy with. He did not show up until almost 4pm. Another hour of wasted time.

When he did finally show up I question if he even listened to what I told him about the tat I wanted. I specifically said that I did not want a sword, I wanted ninja stars, and what did I get after waiting another 45 minutes while he was drawing? You guessed it, a sword and a pose that I didn't want.

At this point it is my own damn fault for going forward but I really wanted both of my arms done by the same artist. I was tired of waiting so I suggested that we make an appointment for the following day and he can spend the time to do the drawing. He agreed, asked for a deposit of half, and said he would send me a photo of the completed drawing when he was done. This was at 5pm, he had 21 hours from that time until my appointment at 2pm the next day and was paid $160.

2pm comes alone and I have not recieved any photo. I arrive at the shop at 2:10 and am told that he is just finishing up the drawing (meaning he still wasn't done and I was even late!) He comes out with a drawing that, no joke, it looks like he spent maybe 10 minutes on. I explain to him that he finally got the pose right but that it was far from the level of detail I was paying for and expected. After suggesting that maybe he wasn't suited for the job he insisted that he was and went back to draw again. I went in about 40 minutes later to check on his progress and the gentleman at the front continued to be rude when I asked. I then asked if he understood my frustration about the situation and he looked me in the face and told me that I could have a seat or get the f*** out.

I definently chose to get out but guess what?? RODNEY HAD ALREADY SPENT MY DEPOSIT MONEY! First he lied and said it was at home and asked me to make another 40miles round trip to come back that evening but I'm guessing when he couldn't come up with it he had to own up to it and admitted that he spent it and would not be able to get my money back to me for another 2 days.

He was polite enough to inform me that they usually charge a cancellation fee but he was going to go ahead and just give it back to me in full.

NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS SHOP!

If I could leave one star, I would! Boyfriend and his brother got tattoos, followed proper care instructions and the tattoo was sloppy and text not connected and lumpy. Artist was in a rush, would have preferred the other heavily tatted fellow, seen his work and it was great. Boo!

Very happy with the end result! Thank you both for being super hospitable and working with to make sure I loved my piece; which I did. Will definitely be returning in the future!
