I had the privilege to work with joe Riley and get this satanic girl done and he did a phenomenal job. Great hospitality. Very real and straight forward but listens to your request and make sure that everything he’s doing is what you actually want. Even In the spots I was sensitive and making it difficult to stay still, he’d work through it and try to accommodate to your pain tolerance. Very different and a big reason I come back and trust him with his work.
The shop it’s self is a very unique spot to get tattooed at. So many things to focus on and get distracted by and is just a very calm vibe. The staff was interested in the tattoo after and all very cool and relaxed. Just as close to as a perfect experience that you could ask for. Highly recommend going to any artist at this shop.

I’ve been seeing Jesse for a few months and he’s done all my tattoos and is doing my sleeve. He has always made sure I was alright and happy with the work. I highly recommend this shop. 10/10

This is my second review post about my experience with the owner of speakeasy tattoo.Joe Riley,I wanted to read some of the reviews of this shop, I seem to have the same complaint as others, the complete lack of common respect to the customer.after I posted a negative review, the owner sent me a threatening message to my personal phone. Very unprofessional. I would never refer Joe Riley to tattoo anyone, he's very unprofessional, and I don't trust him after the message I got from him.

Joe was very accommodating in getting me an appointment on short notice since I'm from out of town. His artwork is out of this world. The whole shop had a fun, but professional vibe. Joe made the whole experience comfortable & enjoyable. I would definitely get ink there again!

Dan was wonderful and kind. He was patient with my daughter and made her feel comfortable while he pierced her ears and made sure we knew how to take care of her piercings afterward.

We came in for a quote a few days ago. And came in this morning to get the tattoo done. The owner wasn’t understanding what I was describing originally so I started asking questions and he kinda yelled at me stating that I was “presumptuous” and “(he) didn’t like that” when I was trying to ask a question on what he meant on certain things. Sorry but it is my body and I want to ask questions about what you mean on certain things I don’t understand. Especially since it’s permanent. The owner ended up telling us that he just had a few deaths in his family and that he might have overstepped himself but that is still no reason to take it out on me…
We ended up not getting the tattoo done there and will not ever be back
