I was in town for a month and Sasha was able to fit me in within 2 weeks. I got a wonderful Christmas tattoo that I absolutely LOVE. Sasha was easy to work with and even followed up with me. I would definitely recommend this place.

I can't recommend this place enough. Very clean facility, and my artist, Sasha, was extremely helpful in my first tattoo experience. I'm not a very creative person, but Sasha helped improve my original design for a sleeve. I'm definitely coming back to this place for my future tattoos.

I so, so regret getting a second tattoo here.
My first tattoo was great. I think the guy's name was Gabe. He was professional and patient, and didn't seem to mind when we redid the transfer paper process about six times to make sure the placement was perfect. His linework was good and the tattoo still looks pretty good a year later.
But man, my second tattoo. I came in to get a small tattoo done in a very visible place. Simple design with a few thin lines. Gabe had told me he trusts all the artists here, especially for small stuff, so I didn't really sweat it that I didn't know the artist. The guy did an absolutely terrible job: he was annoyed that I wanted to redo the transfer ink to get the placement right, and now that the tattoo is healing I can see that the lines aren't straight, aren't parallel, have breaks and discontinuities in them, and some parts are much lighter than others. Overall just a terrible tattoo which I'm embarrassed to have on my body. I'm going to go to a different shop to get it fixed since I no longer trust anyone at this place.
And the kicker: after the ink was done, I noticed the guy's hands were shaking like crazy! I don’t know the reasons and wish the artist all the best, but I think it’s irresponsible to leave permanent (!!) marks on somebody’s body in such a state. (Edited out a possible explanation for the hand-shaking which was rightly called out as being mean-spirited. I’m just upset that my tattoo turned out so terribly when I feel it could have easily been avoided.)

Could not recommend more. I worked with Sasha to get my first tattoo. He was welcoming and knowledgeable, and gave great feedback on some of my ideas for a design. Their shop is sanitary, organized and has a friendly vibe. I reserved time, came back feeling more than confident in Sasha's ability, and my gut was right. He shaded the tattoo exactly how I wanted it and he nailed the placement as well. I'm not sure how long I sat, I think a little over 2 hours, but it felt like nothing thanks to the great conversation as well as the captivating artistry on display. I am over the moon with my first tattoo experience, and I cannot recommend both Dark Horse Tattoo and artist Sasha King enough.

Wow! Joshua Carr took care of us, we managed to get a back to back session so my boyfriend got his tattoos and I got mine right afterwards. Really cool dude, great shop, GREAT artwork. Super fair pricing and a very chill atmosphere. May come back to get the shlop continued in the future, thanks again dude!!
