Whirlwind John is great. Laid back atmosphere and a real cool shop on the corner of Market and Ballard. Real cool neighborhood too. They do great work here. Minimum price of 100 dollars. Will definitely be back to get more work done.

When I came in for my appointment, John had a design ready to go for me. It wasn’t exactly what I pictured, so he took the time to tweak it until it was perfect. Tracy was awesome doing my first tattoo. I had a clear idea and he had some great insight for getting it done right, both in vision and longterm care. I got it in January (a little over 6 months ago) and not only did it look great the day it was finished, but after a few days of mild itching and some liberal use of Aquaphor, it healed amazingly. I love this tattoo, it’s absolutely perfect. Thank you so much Tracy!

Got two sleeves done between November2020-April2021 by Shayne Swenson. He does amazing work! In this time of back to back tattoo sessions being able to spend entire days in the shop i got the luxury of getting to know everyone around the shop. I will say every single artist here does amazing work! It is hard to choose from! Not only do they do amazing work but they all work together from checking you in, to putting master pieces on you they make sure you feel at home and enjoy your time! Everyone is very friendly and cares deeply about you getting setup with the right artist for the work you want done. They won’t try to take the work just to get the money. They are awesome about working together if it takes more than one of them to get you the best piece possible. I will be getting more tattoos from here!
