Matt is my go to traditional style artist! He listens to my ideas, knows exactly the color scheme that goes well with my other tattoos and blows me away each time. Driving from the Seattle area all the way to Anacortes is well worth it!

Andy did an OUTSTANDING job on my tattoo. He made it look better than what I had pictured. He was very professional and made me completely comfortable while creating an amazing work of art. They welcomed us without an appointment on a Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend Seven Sorrows!

I made an appointment for a tattoo, and came in at my appointed time.
There were two customers waiting in front of me.
It took 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged only to be told to βcome back in 3 or 4 hoursβ Then what is the point of making an appointment? Needless to say, I found another establishment that wonβt waste my time, or gas money because I donβt live in Anacortes, I made the commute because I heard great reviews. Wrong.

I group of 4 of us walked in for a tattoo, after the guy we talked to got flustered and gave us all attitude they had us make an appointment and put a deposit down. Which is what we were expecting, from his mouth was βwith the deposit goes towards the tattoo and RESERVES you your appointment.β Come appointment day they call about a 2 hours before hand to cancel us because they booked someone in our spot and we didnβt make an appointment. I had work done there before but the attitude towards the customer and then canceling our appointment to tattoo someone else, I will never go back. If I could give less than one star I would.

Bad work at a reputable spot. No care for their clients, just trying to make a buck.
1. First time going into the shop I got a hand tattoo done by Matt. Only an hour into the tattoo did I realize he did the #4 wrong on my hand. I wasn't mad at the time because I've havr other tattoo's that are worse and that's not really noticeable unless I point it out. But after the healing process the tattoo looks absolutely terrible. Like I said, I have other tattoos that are far from perfect, but this being on my hand is a huge deal. Shading is terrible, linework is rough, numbers are wrong and not even filled all the way through. Keep in mind this was only last month, it shouldn't look this rough being this new.
2. I decided to go back and work with a different artist to give the shop another chance. Put down multiple deposits all for them to reschedule me multiple times. The first time they didn't even tell me they moved me. I took off work, drove an hour to the shop, and they told me I was moved to Sunday. No phone call or anything. Same story that Sunday except I called ahead of time learning from my previous mistakes. They didn't care at all, no apology or anything.
Take your money somewhere else that would respect it and yourself. Typically if a tattoo shop can get you in within a week its a bad sign. Spend the time and wait for the shops that are booked months out, those are the ones that obviously have proven work enough that people are waiting months to get their work done by a specific artist.

I made an appointment with Flash for Nov 17, and paid the $100 deposit. I then found out via his instagram that he was moving to a shop in Seattle, and he did not let me know. I messaged him and asked if we were still on for our appointment as planned, and he said yes, but that it was in Seattle. I told him that I wasn't able to get more time off work to make the 2 hour drive vs 30 minutes, and requested my deposit back. He didn't reply, and I sent three messages over 4 days. I messaged Seven Sorrows over Instagram and they will honor my deposit for another artist, so I'm not upset with the shop, but Flash was extremely unprofessional and I'm very upset.

My partner and I stopped in to get a tattoo. They weren't very busy and offered to fit us in, which was really sweet. My partner just wanted something simple and they were able to do it quickly, professionally, and artistically. The space was clean and all of their art was beautiful.

My wife And I got a two piece done here. I'll start by saying the tattoos were nice. The shop was clean. And the artist was nice. My complaints are that they didn't want to sit down and talk to us about what we wanted our tattoos were suppose to be full of detail and be recognized as two parts to one tattoo. But they left out the features they we specifically asked for. And completely refused to do a waterfall. you want a good cheap tat come here. Go somewhere else for a detailed special one.
