Dark Horse Tattoos

I couldn't have asked for a better first tattoo experience. The shop was very clean, and all around very helpful for me to navigate the world of tattooing for the first time. I was tattooed by Cat - the artwork was so beautiful and, I am very happy with my design! At first, I wanted a design that was not necessarily possible, given the size of my arm. Cat let me know, and from there we decided on a tiger tattoo. I really appreciate her patience and understanding for me not knowing what I was really doing.

I had then set up the appointment and saw the artwork about a month before my appointment, and asked the receptionist a few questions too. Logan was very helpful and let me know what to expect the day of. From there, the tattoo experience was great too - there was background music with beautiful artwork around the space to look at. Cat is a great artist and is very knowledgeable and helpful. If you're just getting into the world of tattoos, this is a great place to start and all staff and artists will be very helpful from start to finish. Thanks again to everyone at Dark Horse!

This entire experience was so healing for my soul. HUGE MAD LOVE to Cat for posting the original design and taking me through an amazing experience from start to finish. If you want ink, you NEED to go see her. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend. My heart is so happy. This arm piece took 4 hours, but Cat made it feel like half that. I will tell everyone I know to call Dark Horse when they need work done. Wish there were more stars to give!

I got a memorial tattoo done by Cat and I can not express enough how helpful and amazing she was, even when I asked to add in my cat’s paw print, she changed to design to fit it. She was professional and very awesome to work with. The shop is clean and everyone I came into contact with were friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dark Horse and I definitely recommend Cat.

Where to begin. This place is amazing. The professionalism, cleanliness and quality of work is amazing. I went in for my first big tattoo with Cat. Cat was amazing with my design and worked fast and efficiently while making sure I left with an amazing piece. She was also extremely professional and really worked with my schedule to try and get me in. Since I’ve left here, I’ve been stopped countless times by people asking who did this and where I went. Everyone is amazed at the high level quality of the work. This is definitely where I will go for any other tattoos I get in the future no doubt.

Starting from the front desk, the associate was extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable. He took the time to make me feel like more than another customer from the first telephone call, all the way up until my appointment date. It’s hard to find good service now days, but the front desk associate more than exceeded expectations.

On to Jon, he was also extremely knowledgeable and the work he did was nothing less than amazing! Though I was thinking this would be just another transaction, not expecting conversation or life advice, we literally talked the entire 2 hour appointment (which was what made the appointment one of the best ever). I received the tattoo in what most would consider a painful area, but Jon used his tools perfectly, applying pressure in areas where needed and was careful in other places.

Also, the shop as a whole had a family oriented, friendly environment (which could be surprising for some being that it is a tattoo shop).

After getting the work done, even though I’ve had multiple tattoos done in the past, Jon took the time to not assume and explained how to care for the tattoo in coming weeks to prevent infections (or other problems associated with tattoos).

This is such an amazing place and if one decides to go get work done at this shop, it is my hope that your experience will be as good as mine!

I had a great experience getting my first tattoo here. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and Cat did an amazing job with my tattoo. She helped me figure out how to make my idea work for the space I wanted. It came out better than I imagined and healed beautifully. I would absolutely come back to Dark Horse to get more ink and recommend the shop to others.

Cat tattooed a Michael the Archangel on my forearm. Cat is an incredibly talented artist. The tat is beautiful. So happy with her work. I’m already planning to have Cat work on the other arm. I recommend Cat without any hesitation. She - is - awesome!

Cat did an absolutely amazing job on my cover-up tattoo! You can’t even tell what was there before. It was in a sensitive spot and she made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. The art is insanely beautiful!

My daughter and I saw Cat. She gave me a great tattoo of my deceased dogs paw print. My daughter got her dogs paw print. This isn’t my first tattoo but my first tattoo at Dark Horse. Now i wish i had all of my work done here. Best experience ever. Will be back for sure

I am so thankful to have found both John & Reese they have done amazing work on both myself & my husband! My most recent a finger tattoo was done by John. It’s super easy to make an appointment! Love!!!!!!!!!
