This place is awesome, very welcoming with a comfortable atmosphere. Steve, the owner has done 4 of my tattoos and several for my sisters. He is top notch, one of the most talented and chill dudes ever. I lost my pup 3 months ago and wanted to get a memorial tattoo and he went above and beyond making a pleasant and wonderful experience. I would recommend him or his staff any day.

I recently received a tattoo from Charles at anchor ink, though I do have a number of tattoos, there is not a lot of shops with the environment that anchor ink has built. While getting tattooed, I had many other artist come over to look at/ hype up the tattoo I was getting. They are all very friendly, and thrive to make it feel as at home as getting tattooed can. I will FOR SURE be coming back!!!

Tried to go in to see if they could do a tattoo for me, but I drove all the way uptown twice and both times they were supposed to be open and door was lock times on door said they should be open. I also called both times and the answering machine said that they also should have been open, and I also left a message asking if someone would call me back. And as you could guess no response from them. I have asked afew of my friends about this place they have said they are not reliable, so if your thinking of going there good luck.

I had Antonella do my voodoo twin tattoo and she knocked it out of the park! Not only did she give me this perfect tattoo but here portfolio is flawless and she is the person to go to for black and gray tattoos. If you have an idea in your head that you want translated to skin I promise that she will exceed any expectations you have and leave you with a tattoo you will want to show off. Everyone else in the shop seemed nice as well. There looks to be an artist for whatever style of tattoo you want. They book fast so book now!

My drawing wasn't what the artist wanted to use because of thin lines. After 30 minutes of correcting my tattoo asking if he wanted help and being told no. I managed to get marked with a wrong symbol and wasn't even offered an apology. Spent 200 on something I have to now have removed. I didn't care for a refund I just wanted an apology. Won't be back

I've had 3 tattoos done by Mat Barboa recently, and I'm really happy with how they all turned out. He may be young, but is very talented. I looked at a lot of other tattoo artists but went with him bc I could see he is excellent with photo realism and line work that is very precise. He is humble and takes his work very seriously. He's great at taking your ideas, but then individualizing the tattoo to make it unique and artistic. The shop has a relaxed vibe, and the owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Best way to communicate with the artists seems to be to just drop in and talk with them. Saves time and they are happy to talk with you if they're available.

Jacob Bennett did an amazing job on my daughter's name and sunflower and he totally redid the rest of the tattoo I had for my kids and made it exactly what I wanted the first time I got the tattoo a couple years ago in Nebraska! He was light handed, took his time, was easy and fun to talk to during the session and was impressive with his knowledge about the skin and the healing process and the specifics of what the skin does and how it heals. I would definitely say he knows more than most about his profession! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!!
