Hand Candy Tattoo and Piercing

I don't know if my expectations were too high with this tattoo shop, but from the reviews and the pre-texts I had with Canessa, I was pretty confident bringing my 14 year old daughters here to have the Daith Piercings done to help with her migraines. The price was decent to have both ears done so we went for it.

The disappointing part is we were not greeted upon arrival...which may seem trivial, but for someone who had never been here before to walk in and not even receive a" Hello" was so bazaar. They didn't stop their conversation to acknowledge our presents and make us feel comfortable at all. My Daughter was a bit nervous and there was no effort to make sure she was relaxed and at ease with the process.

We were also hoping for a piece of jewelry that was small and discreet. We were not shown our options she just put in what she wanted (after we told her what we were wanting) and they are much bigger than we would have preferred.

We were in/out, pay your money, good bye. I was just disappointed in the whole process and didn't feel as if they really cared that we were there giving them our business.

Bad communication between the owner and employees, I would not recommend this place. They told us walk-ins only. We waited a week and "walked In", they then told us appointment only.... Then told us we posted the change on the Facebook page... Expecting us to watch their page for updates... Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere.

I was in there for 45 minutes standing there to buy a nose stud and nobody helped me and didn’t even ask what I needed there

I went to Keisha on a referral from a friend. This was my first tattoo. She was fantastic, engaging, understanding, helpful, did amazing work (it turned out better than I’d hoped!) and the cost was extremely reasonable! I’m definitely going back!

I got my industrial piercing done here and it was a fantastic experience! No problems at all and the prices are great!

Got my nostril pierced here and it was quick and easy. Canessa was super responsive to text and scheduling my appointment. The place was also very clean!

I have had the same stud in my nose for a lot longer than I’d care to admit, and was having a lot of difficulty getting it out. My partner’s cousin recommended I go here and I was not disappointed! The woman that helped me was so incredibly kind and welcoming, and made me feel super comfortable. The whole process was so quick and easy! I highly recommend going here! I know for sure I’ll be back!

Coolest tattoo shop out there! Keisha is an incredible artist. I've gotten a few tattoos from her now and they are amazing. The environment is fun and very clean. My experiences at Hand Candy have always been great! I can't wait to go back for more

Keisha was awesome! She knew exactly what i wanted for a tattoo. Came out perfect for a great price. She fixed my hubsbands tattoo and made it look brand new. She has a light hand. Great conversation. She is quite knowledgeable & quite the intellect. Enjoy our time in her shop. Plan on getting more tattoos done by her and her only!!
