Scorpion Studios Tattoo

I absolutely loved it here. Neil has been doing my moms tattoos for years and I got my first one done by him. I just turned 18 and was so nervous. He made it very comfortable and kept me laughing and overall good conversations the whole way. Will only be going to him for any others I want done.

Buyer beware: entirely hit or miss.
It’s either a great or awful experience.
I very rarely give 1-2 stars to any business, but given the price and the circumstances, I can’t say I have much room for the rating. Positive: they were willing to work with my brother and I on a walk in.
Negative: everything following.. A friend of mine urged me to share my experience with getting work done at an unfamiliar shop and after my brother and I went in to get tattoos (designed by me) about a year ago. And we were both pretty happy with the outcome. Roughly 2-3 weeks later after the healing process.. we both ended up paying for new work, to get our designs redone by a professional in Stl, where I usually go. I was surprised with how it ended up turning out, a lot of reviews were positive and a lot of the work displayed appeared to be solid. But, we both ended up extremely disappointed. My brother had a much better before and after. Bottom line: we essentially paid to get painful rough drafts. I can’t speak for shading, but just expect very thin and faint lines. I regret wasting my money here.

Got a couple of tattoos from Will! He’s great, friendly, and highly recommend him! The studio is clean and welcoming. This will always be my spot for when I’m back in htx to get a tattoo

Have been here two times (multiple sessions both times) and been really pleased with the work. I have worked with Dan both times and already scheduled for a 3rd tattoo with him. Prices are reasonable for the work completed, location is easy enough to get to and in the heart of Houston surrounded by good restaurants to go to before or after to celebrate!

Sapo did our family crest on my son and me. My son had just turned 18 and was getting his first tattoo. He kept my son comfortable and kept him laughing. It was a great time. Great tattoos. Sapo is my permanent artist now. They run a clean shop with amazing artists. We will be back. Thanks Scorpion Studios!

Inquired at this tattoo shop, for a memorial tattoo of my mom, Homer.. was the only artist there on a Saturday at 3p. There was 6-7 ppl. waiting. Other artists weren't coming in til 6p. He was very welcoming, I didn't have hours of time to wait!

Fantastic artists, super clean environment. Can't say enough good things about Mr. Dan Martin's custom pieces and customer service. If you want a good tattoo go to your local tattoo parlor, but if you want a GREAT tattoo go to Scorpion Studios! The photo attached is almost 25 years old and still a fantastic piece of work!

Neil is our personal favorite but everyone does great work. Clean and fair prices!

So I really wanted to get myself a tattoo for my birthday and was planning for a week to go to a certain tattoo studio, but at the last second I decided I wanted to go to Scorpion instead because I loved their portfolio. It was my first time going and I wasn't able to make an appointment (for reasons that were my own fault) so I just showed up. Dan, I think he is the owner, was so nice and kind. He introduced me to Hailey, the woman who brought what I wanted to life. Hailey was so nice and sweet. I showed her what I wanted done and how I wanted it to look in reference to another tattoo I had done, and I could see her looking at the area and planning what she thought would work best with the tattoo I already had. She sketched something out in about 20 minutes (it was a medium size somewhat simple design that I came in with) and I loved it so we got started. She was completely professional yet very friendly. She asked how i was doing many times and asked if I needed breaks. And it came out amazing. And I'm planning on going back in a few days to get another tattoo from her. Really great experience and exceptional artists.

From the time we stepped inside to the time we left Jacque gave us great customer service and did a great job on what we asked for. She cleaned everything accordingly and made sure to put privacy screens up which made us feel more comfortable for the tattoos we were getting. I’m definetly going back on my next trip to houston.
