I got my very first tattoo here just last year. I was very very nervous about it, as I'd been told that it hurt quite a lot and I'm a complete wuss when it comes to pain. The artist was very gentle and explained everything he was doing from prepping the area to how far the needle was actually going in, and even when it was finished he continued to talk about what he was doing. He even talked about the Marvel and DC universes, his favorite characters, my favorite characters, which movies he liked and disliked. Before I knew it, I wasn't nervous anymore and I actually enjoyed the experience. He was so kind and took his time to make sure it didn't actually hurt. All of the art on his walls, he does by hand. He also offers airbrushed designs and sells comics. The music is always really good and if you have to wait for your appointment, it really doesn't even feel like waiting. I have gotten my second tattoo here as well and plan on getting my third when I have enough saved up, as it'll be a bit more expensive than the previous two. The atmosphere is quite relaxing, he is really fun to talk to and is willing to break the total cost of the tattoo up into smaller payments if you ask. Unless things change, this will be the only place I ever get my tattoos. Everything is cleaned immediately after use, the layout is neat and tidy. The shop is small but that's to be expected in this town. If you're interested in getting your first tattoo, or even your tenth, I highly recommend Hillies Airbrush and Tattoo.

Wish more stars were available to give! Shop is clean, well organized, nice open floor plan with plenty of room for a group of people to move around, lots of fantastic / fun art work to view and appointments are made quickly. Hillie has a great sense of humor, is very accommodating and truly helps ease your nerves. You will not find a better place to go if getting your first piercing or tattoo! Overall, he went above and beyond to make everyone comfortable, keep us laughing and ensure his customer's left pleased.

Extraordinarily Unprofessional, exhibited extreme lack of interest of customers opinions, needs, and/or wants. After scheduling appt. Over a wk in advance, and arriving 30 mins early, "The Artist", (self proclaimed I assure you), was not ready by the scheduled time. He claimed to have gotten behind schedule due to a NON-Emergency mishap and had accepted 3 walk-in customers, apparently without even considering his Pre-Scheduled appts, showing a complete lack of organization, time- managment, and customer courtesy. The appt. Was scheduled. For 7 pm. Waited until 9:13 pm to even discuss the work to be done, and did so with NO SEATING AVAILABLE IN THE ENTIRE SHOP!
OVER 2 HRS SPENT STANDING. After discussing
Design and agreeing that he was in conplete understanding of concept, asked us to provide an example or if We had something prepared... (seriously, if you are a tattoo artist, then you should KNOW!!) It is your resposibility to DESIGN THE CONCEPT OF THE TATOO BASED ON THE CRITERIA DISCUSSED. HENCE, why I chose the title of SELF-PROCLAIMED ARTIST. Which FINALLY... Brings me to the quality and overall satisfaction of work recieved.
Friendliness- Poor
Punctuality- Very Poor
Preparedness- Non Existant
Quality of Work- Honestly, I truly believe that anyone who
suffers from Parkinsons Disease would
have done a much better job.

Hillie is an awesome artist. He has already touched up my shoulder piece, now he did my wife's name on my finger(wedding ring don't fit haha). I already have my chest piece designed by him, and can't wait to get that done. My wife said she will come to him for her art as well. Oh, and he had some comics and such to sell, so check it out!
