My boyfriend and I came to this shop wanting tattoos on vacation. We picked this place because of the reviews it had. I went it first and got one behind my ear, we walked in and Bruce was able to fit me before his appointment. When I walked in they told me I couldn’t get want I was asking for behind my ear because it wouldn’t fit. The front desk person helped me google and find a new design I would like to get done. They were all very helpful and it was a very friendly environment. I would recommend Bruce, his line work is amazing. When my boyfriend went a couple days later, he got his first tattoo and had Shane. His tattoo looks really good, just in the black part of the helmet we think that the bottom line is uneven but we don’t know if that was purposeful. It doesn’t change how we thinks of the tattoo he loves it so much. Overall, we have had a great experience during our time being in this shop and we definitely recommend going here. The tattoos are a little pricy but they are worth it.

I came in to get my first tattoo at age 66 to honor my daughter that passed in March. She had this tattoo on her wrist. Beautiful job recreating it! I chose shoulder due to loose kin on wrist.
Can't thank you guys enough. Now I carry a little bit of Amy with me everywhere

My friend and I went here to get a simple matching tattoo. The girl at the front desk was nice and helpful but everyone else pretty much made us feel like idiots. The pricing was outrageous but since we were on vacation we decided to just go for it. We each paid $130 for a two in simple flower… basically got robbed. We were tattooed by Bush who seemed nice enough but was obviously annoyed by us and rushed through the entire process. My lines are already fading and patchy. We were both in and out in less than 30 minutes. I hate tattoo shops that have artists there that think they are better than everyone else. I honestly feel like I could have done a better job myself. Please save your money and do not go here.

Whole experience here was great! Less than an hour from walking to leaving and the front desk staff and my artist Sal with both super nice. Sal was knowledgeable, kind, and ensured I was comfortable the entire time. He sent me off with thorough after care instructions for my derm as well.
He treated me and my friends so well while we got our Galentine’s tattoos. Highly recommend this place for all your tattoo needs here in TN!

Lilly was amazing! She did great work on our first tattoos ever, she made the moment easy going and fun with chatting. In and out in about an hour and a half. Came out great and beautiful. I was a little nervous but she made it easy, it didnt hurt bad, tickled mostly haha. And Lillu kept making sure we were doing good the whole time. My husband and I love our first tattoos. Highly recommend Black Orchid Tatoo, and Lilly as the artist.

My wife and I found black orchid tattoo shop1 a year ago and found there second shop while on vacation this year and they did an amazing job on all 3 tattoos the did very courtesy clean shop definitely going back again

My husband and I wanted to get matching Roman numeral tattoos of our wedding date while visiting Pigeon Forge on our honeymoon. We walked in on a Friday right when they opened and they got us in no problem. Bruce was our tattoo artist and he was great! Great work, efficient, great convo, friendly and overall a cool dude. We both really enjoyed our experience and we were glad this was the location we decided on for our tattoo. I read reviews and did research prior to going here which helped in our decision making. The gals at the front desk were very nice, helpful and friendly as well. Highly recommend.

Went to ask about getting three simple matching tattoos. The worker at the front desk seemed annoyed and wasn’t very helpful. She didn’t quote a price but said it would take 1.5 hours for each one, which I knew was excessive based on having several other tattoos. We went to another shop and all three were done within 30-40 minutes for a very reasonable price. The work at Black Orchid seems good based on the pictures I’ve seen, but it all starts with customer service.

I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is! My family went on vacation and 8 out of 12 adults got tattooed here. Not only were they professional and kind they also knew what they were doing and EVERYONE was extatic about their tattoos. I must give my artist Shane a special shout out though he really impressed me. It was my first tattoo and he communicated what was going on, worked with me to alter my tattoo when I wasn't completely satisfied with the initial stencil design and made sure that I was comfortable about the whole process before he started. I got a chest tattoo which is a pretty sensitive area and he was incredibly patient when I needed a break for a few seconds and worked with my breath (I was doing deep breathing) without me having to say anything to him. He was also not heavy handed at all with the machine. I feel blessed to have had such a kind soul do my first tattoo and do it so well. I would absolutely recommend getting tattooed by Shane or any of the other artists at Black Orchid. I myself am already planning my next trip to pigeon forge so I can expand on the design.

Trish was awesome she did both mine and my wife's king and queen we will definitely be going back to her for any more tattoos.
