Oak & Iron Tattoo and Piercing

Seriously the best place to get a tattoo and piercing! Best reviews on Google and the price is right for the quality. I got my Medusa pierced.. (middle of upper lip) and he is so skilled he pierced from the inside out... Totally awesome. He takes amazing care you you too and he is freaking hilarious!! So fun to be around. He is super cool and a genuine soul. Highly recommend this place.

My 10-year-old daughter has wanted to get her ears pierced for many years! Probably half her life this has been her wish & goal. Her having autism I was a bit worried about how this would play out, especially with her stimming and having someone understanding & patient enough. It went perfectly! Mamma Johnnie made it a great experience! My daughter smiled and giggled the entire time! All future piercings we are coming here from now on!

this place is great! friendly staff, fair pricing, and genuine conversations with a really easy going vibe makes this place ideal for people new to piercings or tattoos or just casual shop visitors. i appreciate the non judgmental atmosphere. the piercer, momma johnnie, is very nice and an experienced QUEEN! estimated my matching nostrils perfectly.

i went to get my navel pierced in september, and i assumed it was just swollen, but it was crooked. i went back and asked for a refund and to get it removed, the lady who had done it said they don’t do refunds but she removed it and gave me a slip of paper that said she would give me a free piercing and free jewelry. i came back in november after letting the original piercing heal and got it redone. she put the original jewelry back in after saying she would give me “free jewelry.” and after a two days, it is crooked AGAIN. she told me this was “rare” the first time it happened. i am disappointed because i had gone to “momma johnie” before to get my third lobe piercings done and they healed just fine. i won’t be coming back for any other business. they are overpriced and NOT done correct.

My daughter came in to get an earing swap out with Drew and was super excited to find out she could make custom colored ones to her liking. Not only did she walk out with hoops in her ears but with ones she designed! I mean this is a big deal to a 10 year old but I wish I would want this too. She is totally telling me to pierce stuff so I can too partake in this amazing experience. Who knew you got to do science at the Tattoo shop?! She is definitely coming back. Also please get your kids ears pierced professional because it is so much better for them. And the cost is so comparable.

I got my nipples pierced by Drew and I am extremely impressed. He was very professional and friendly. He made me feel at ease and talked my husband and I through the whole process. I will definitely come back for any more piercings I decide to get.

My sister, my daughter and I went to Oak and Iron for piercings. My daughter had her ears pierced they did a great job with her, best experience we've had with getting her ears pierced. However, next it was piercing my sister and myself we wanted our lip pierced. I will say it was the worse experience with having piercings that I have experienced, the person piercing both of us lost the bar in my lip so it fell out and ended up piercing my lip a second time so I end up with 2 holes in my lip and then it took them forever to screw the outside of the piercing in. Once it was finally done it was my sisters turn the same thing happened to her however she wasn't pierced twice they just wiggled and pushed causing pain until the bar finally went through the hole again causing an enormous amount of blood covering her face. I ended up asking them to clean her face off a couple times before we could leave. I have never seen anyone as a professional do a piercing so poorly. My sister ended up taking the piercing out after two days since the bar was too big and getting stuck between her teeth. My lip swelled up so large it covered the entire piercing so I could not remove it finally after many attempts to take this much swelling down after two weeks the swelling has went away. I hope no one ever has an experience like this.

I got my nipples pierced by Drew and he was awesome! I was super nervous and he made me very comfortable and the process was quick! Super happy with them :)

Oak and Iron is my favorite studio to get pierced at. The jewelry selection and quality is exceptional, and Drew is a wonderful piercer who is obviously very knowledgeable in his profession, and every experience I've had here has been comfortable. He explains everything, checks in to make sure I'm doing okay, and the aftercare sheet was the most extensive and helpful I've ever gotten at a studio. He's super easy to reach, and is so helpful if you have trouble healing a piercing. All the piercings I've gotten from here are doing great and look amazing! We probably spent 30 minutes making sure my high nostril piercings were even, from all angles. The time spent on the attention to detail is so appreciated. The whole staff is really friendly and fun to talk to. If you're looking for a piercing, go here! I wouldn't go anywhere else!
