"We are Tried N True Tattoo. Formerly Outlawed Ink, we have moved to Washington Ave, right in the heart of Scranton. We strive to make tattooing as comfortable an experience as we can. With the two artists currently working at Tried N True, there are no tattoos to big or too small. Need a cover up? No problem. First tattoo? Drop us a message or stop by with any questions; we’d be honored to help as we understand tattooing can be a scary thing and we wish only to provide positive experiences. Walk-in’s welcome. Our shop minimum is $75.00. We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18. All appointments require a 20 percent non-refundable retainer. We do not offer piercing services. I went to Tried n True tattoo shop yesterday. My tattoo artist was Josh. He designed me a cool lettering font! I got a loyalty tattoo with a light fade. It came out awesome! I was very satisfied with his work. Josh got me a fast appointment. Other tattoo shop you have to wait a month or more, I got an appointment in a week! I highly recommend this tattoo shop. Just got an awesome tattoo drawn up by Josh. I highly recommend him as it was a very easy process. He communicated directly to me in a timely manner and even showed me some mock drawings of my idea before I came in. Very professional and clean. I look forward to returning to Tried and True Tattoo.

Wild Bill is definitely well seasoned I've been under the needle in many states and his realizim is hard to come by along with his care and gentle hand this is definitely on my revisiting list. Thank you Bill!! Make a appointment he's a night guy lol.

If you don't like needles and you know you're probably not gonna do well with them, go to Josh! He is extremely gentle with the gun! I just got my first tattoo here last night and it came out beautifully! I was extremely nervous walking in but walking out I felt so relieved. Josh welcomed my ideas kindly and really made me happy with his work! I needed to break often and he was agreeing to that, and I know some artists would be irritated if a client did that. If I ever decide to get another tattoo I'm coming back here! Thank you Josh! You've really earned your five stars.
