Absolutely loved my experience here. Great vibe, super friendly, clean, tidy, and just a fun time all around. My tattoo came out even better and prettier than I'd hoped, and the prices are totally reasonable. 10/10 strongly recommend.

This was my first experience in a tattoo studio. I took my 14 year old daughter there for cartilage piercing. Allyx was extremely friendly, professional, patient, and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and explained the procedure prior to doing it. She made sure the piercings were exactly what my daughter wanted. She practiced aseptic technique and explained their sterilization process. We were extremely pleased with everything.

Fantastic experience! Their shop was modern and very clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I had some work done with Jason and couldn’t be happier. I will be coming here for all my tattoos in the future. Thank you!!

American National Tattoo is one of the best shops in Pittsburgh. I was tattooed years ago by Murf; his work is great and its always fun to engage in conversation with him. I’ve recently had multiple sessions with Joe and the experience was phenomenal every single time, his work is great. Their shop is super clean and I’d recommend it to anyone. Get your tattoos here, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice and clean new shop. Have been going to them for years for tattoos and piercings. Both tattoo artist are fantastic and have great attitude towards customers. Zack and Eleanore in the piercing studio both do amazing work and are always professional. Highly recommend this shop for tattoos and piercings. All have years of experience and it's great to see them doing their thing in their own shop.

Went in today for an industrial piercing (my first piercing ever at 28). Their piercer Zack is truly phenomenal. He calmed my nerves and walked me through the whole process and just made me feel a lot better. Super sweet guy and really knows what he’s doing. The place is ultra clean too! HIGHLY recommend coming here!

Very clean environment with extremely talented artists. I drive 3 hours from home for the superior experience at American National Tattoo. Murf is excellent and takes the time to make sure your art looks better than you could’ve expected. I also picked up some high quality jewelry from Eleanor and Zack while I was there. The company of the whole shop, including their other artist Jason, really helps get you through your all day tattoo appointments.

Just had 2 tattoos done by Jason. Let me start by saying that the tats turned out awesome!! Jason is very good at what he does!! Murf is also equally as good. I had 1 done by him in past. The shop is super clean and comfortable!! They make you feel at ease when you’re there. They kept me entertained the whole 4.5 hours I was there. If you’re looking to get some work done this is the place for you!

I got my first tattoo done here and the experience truly excellent! Jason did an incredible job. He took the rose design I wanted and elevated it completely. The pricing was fair and the quality of the work was exceptional. Incredibly happy with the results and definitely would come back for future tattoos :)
