Love this tattoo shop!! Every tattooer here is friendly and talented! Itβs always sparking clean and has a truly welcoming atmosphere. Good music generally also. I usually get tattooed by Lauren or Liz! Plan ahead because they book up! Five-star shop in every way!
Hot tip: Stop into the Elmwood bakery (which is just next door) to grab a mixed bag of sugar cookies on your way in to get tattooed. Gotta keep that blood sugar up. βΊοΈβΊοΈ

Lakewood Electric is, hands down, the best shop to visit for all your tattoo needs. Their professionalism and commitment to client satisfaction has not only won my loyalty as a customer but the loyalty of many of my immediate family members. I recently drove over 16 hours round trip, for my last tattoo appointment.
Not sure which artist to book with? Honestly, you could pick any of them. There is a reason they are all artists at Lakewood Electric. Because they are all extremely talented. Iβm personally committed to Milesβ artistry and have 3 tattoos done by him just in the last few months.
My only wish is that I would have found this shop sooner. Thanks Lakewood Electric, Iβll see you again soon!

Place is great. Chuck is a bit of a geezer but can still skate better than your teenager. Legend has it if you can land a kick flip, you get five bucks off your tat. Make sure to buy some merch to stuff in the stocking.

I wish my experience was better mostly because I would've have this terrible tatoo that I now need to have touched up. I went to the shop 2 years ago, very shortly after my dog passed with a line drawing her. I said I wanted to add something to it to give it more personality. Her name was Dasisy so the artist (don't know his name) suggested adding some daisy's around...sounded good, I said sure. They are drawn like a 5 year old and the weight of the line is so heavy that now they look like black globs. I live in FL. now so going back to the shop to discuss is out of the question. The artist behaved like I was a bother, it was clear that he could have cared less what I ended up with...

The artist made me feel like a hassle I came in with a basic tattoo of bird silhouettes of motions of flight. He continously asked how many of the birds I wanted?! As if there was too many. They were small and 7 of them. Then hadn't the slightest idea of how to place the birds which came in order and tapered in size. But made them all the same size and mixed them up. In my expericene the artist had a concept of fluid motion in art on the body and proper placement. This guy just sat on his hands while his co worker came over to concur that "those were a lot of birds" . So i just got one and ended the session for someone else with compentancy to finsh for me. All the same i was charged 100 dollars for a 1 inch tattoo. I love they're passive agressive way of screwing people out of a tattoo they don't like. I work across the street and wanted to support a local shop, but all i got was a slap in the face. Totally embrassed and disappointed. Thanks for nothing guys.

The artists here have so much patience and are so helpful with suggestions on how to make designs look best on the body.
The prices are extremely reasonable and the quality of work is unmatched.

I came in from out of state to get a matching tattoo with my sister. She booked us with Miles and Brian. They did an awesome job, exactly what we wanted and were very friendly.
Nice, clean place. I would totally go back! So in love with my 1st tattoo! A week later, it's looking great.

I really wanted to check this place out. It has stellar reviews and all of the artists seem top notch. I was referred to Lakewood Electric by a Tattoo Artist in my hometown that had nothing but positive things to say. I began trying to schedule my appointments in June. As my BFF and I will be in the Cleveland Area for a concert and we wanted to get tattoos to commemorate the weekend. I know how fast books can fill up, so I began trying to schedule my appointment in June. I used IG and the email address that was listed on the website and never received even an acknowledgement of my messages. I decided to call at the beginning of August. Was told we now have appointments and was given a different email to send reference materials to. I promptly sent out the materials requested. No response. I waited about 5 days, I know how busy it can get, and after the 5th day, I called back. The receptionist then pulled up my reference email, asked for additional references to be sent. I complied the next day. I just called to check on my appointments. Make sure that they didn't need any additional information as the appointment is less than 3 weeks away. I was just told that the appointments were NEVER scheduled, and now all of the artists are booked. So my friend and I are simply out of luck. I also basically had to ask for an apology. If you are local, you will probably have a better experience than I did. If you are visiting from out of town, go to a different Studio. Save yourself some heartache.
