I highly recommend Heart of Gold Body Art! Going to this shop is a great way to support a local world class woman! This is my second tattoo with Kerry and she exceeded my expectations as usual! The new shop is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. Kerry worked hard to make me and my mom who was visiting as comfortable as possible. She offered great, honest feedback and created a design that resulted in a beautiful floral thigh piece! She is professional, thorough and truly cares about the art she places on each client. I love mine more than I thought I could!

I had an amazing experience with Savannah at Heart of Gold Body Arts. I have been following her work and the studio for some time and was delighted when I was able to book an appointment after virus protocols had been established. I felt very comfortable and safe with social distancing measures being implemented. Everything was extremely clean and sanitized and we were both masked the whole time. As for the tattoo process itself Savannah was a delight. She was so thoughtful and amazing at designing it. She made me feel very included, and my thoughts and wishes respected in design, placement, etc. I was very comfortable with the whole process, and Savannah has a delightful personality. Conversation flowed easily, and I appreciated her openness and ability to have real conversations (not just talking about the weather). I will definitely be going back for another appointment with her as well as looking into the other artists at this studio. I can't recommend Savannah or this studio enough. The tattoo is healing very well (photo is right after tattooing).

This was my first tattoo experience, and Kerry did a wonderful job! She corresponded through email leading up to the appointment. On the day of, we worked together on finalizing the design and placement details, and she did a great job explaining the process. I felt very comfortable throughout and we've touched base after to make sure it's healing properly. I'm very happy with the entire process and the beautiful tattoo!

Heart of Gold is a great shop. I just got my first tattoo from Kerry and the whole experience was outstanding. The shop was very relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly, skilled, and make it very apparent that they love what they do. Although I intend to be tattooed by other artists, I look forward to getting more tattoos from Kerry in the future. You should probably do yourself a favor and get tattooed (or pierced) here.

Kerry is such an amazing artist and was so sweet to work with! She took my small idea of flowers from my wedding bouquet and totally brought it to life with an incredible design. It was my first tattoo and the whole experience was relaxed and perfect. Definitely want more of her artwork in the future!

I got a tattoo with Kerry this weekend and it was an amazing experience. It was my first tattoo and they really set me at ease. Kerry has a very kind presence and is an unbelievably talented artist. I am so pleased with how the tattoo looks and my overall experience was very cathartic. I cannot wait to book another tattoo with them in the future.

After years of admiring Kerry’s beautiful work, I finally fought my nerves, and booked a session. The shop is beautiful, chill, and welcoming. Kerry is super kind, funny, relatable, and so good at what she does. Three hours later, and I have my dream tattoo. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of Kerry’s work. It’s a four hour drive from my home to Heart of Gold, but I’ll definitely be returning for my next piece (and another, and another).

Absolutely fantastic place for my first tattoo! Everyone there was kind, professional, and knowledgable. Before Kerry even began, she took extra time to redraw her design to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I was very nervous and she made sure I understood what to expect, as well as checking in with my pain and comfort levels throughout the process. I now feel like I have an incredible piece of art that I can treasure through the years. Also, after watching the care the piercers took talking to other clients as they came in made me feel confident that if I ever desire those services I would be in excellent hands. It doesn't hurt that their jewelry was beautiful, either! Highly recommend!

Love this new studio that Kerry and Derek have opened! Derek Ian is the only person I will go to for piercings - he is a true professional, dedicated to his art and to his customers. I always feel welcomed and in great hands when he does a piercing for me. This new studio is a perfect example of his professionalism and his personality--both work together to make every visit fantastic.
