The folks at Welcome Tattoo were amazing and super welcoming and professional! I called when they first opened to get a walk in tattoo done as a spur of the moment thing.
The receptionist was really nice and helped me out a lot in making sure they got the reference photos I sent via text.
Their apprentice, Noah was super awesome and a great person to talk to. As some whose name is also Noah, I know that Noah has got a bright future in the tattoo industry. He was able to completely capture the vision of what I wanted done for my tattoo, and for it being the first time tattooing a stomach he did great. The line work is super clean and the shading and color is saturated very nicely.

Me and my friend went on Walk-in Saturday to get our second tattoos and it was an amazing experience. We were closer to the end of the line but they’re quick and we were both finished by 3. The two receptionists are super friendly and Kohan is an amazing artist and super personable! Will definitely be coming back in the future!

Welcome tattoo is the absolute best!! From the moment I walked in everyone was super friendly and accommodating! Easy to make appointments, morgan is always friendly and happy to answer questions. Jacob did my half sleeve and totally nailed it! I will absolutely be going back soon for more. I’ve had tattoos at other shops before and they do not compare to this one, highly recommend!!

David did my husband's tattoo as well as mine. We got an Artist's number signature done. It came out just like he wrote it, Immaculate job done here, very clean inside and everyone was so nice. David made sure to keep checking on us during the process ☺️. Was a great experience for getting our tattoos. THANK YOU❤️❤️!

Loved the atmosphere. Matt did a great job reworking the design of a tattoo idea I sent him, then worked with me on size and placement. I didn’t feel pressured to hurry and decide on the tattoo, but he worked with me and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I drove 2.5 hours to get here from central Virginia; I love this place and I will definitely be back!

I have gotten 4 tattoos from Welcome Tattoo, all on their walk-in Saturdays. I cannot say enough how amazing they are! I recommend them to anyone I talk about tattoos with. All my tattoos have been with different artists and each time I am so pleased with the results! Jacob especially did truly amazing work with my most recent fine-line tattoo. The time he took and the pride he clearly has in his work is admirable and you know you are in good hands with him. The shop is clean, bright, and welcoming and everyone I've interacted with there is so nice and pleasant. The walk-in Saturdays have such a great vibe among the artists and those waiting to sign-up. If you are considering going here for a tattoo, you should absolutely get on their books or do a walk-in Saturday!

Me and my boyfriend went for walk in Saturday and they were awesome! Matt did both me and my boyfriends and he finished both of them very quickly and they looked awesome. I was a little nervous getting my first tattoo but I was glad we went to welcome because I love it! Will definitely be coming back to get more done here!

At Welcome, tattoo artists are so professional and GOOD! They have always delivered a tattoo which was greater than what i expected. I love their location and the natural lighting adds to the modern studio vibes. I always get a good feeling there bc it’s not dingy, dark and shady- it’s clean, modern, and durham’s most awesome tattoo shop. Prices are always fair for their art and well worth it. Has always been a really great experience!
