I have nothing but good things to say about this business! Clean, professional, accommodating, and straight passionate work that is done in this shop. I recently got tattooed by Chris at True Blue and he absolutely crushed it! Chris definitely went above and beyond of what I was expecting for this tattoo and I absolutely love it! The whole experience was great! Chris is a really cool dude who creates a comfortable environment and holds good conversation the entire time. I instantly trusted this man to use his best judgement and create a piece that looked good and added on to a previous tattoo I have. He works very diligently and you can tell that he truly cares about the art he permanently marks on peoples body. I will for sure be scheduling another appointment with Chris again in the future and will 10/10 recommend him for anyone looking to get tatted up!

Killy is the bomb! He has done/working on all 7 of my tattoos and I’m extremely happy with each one. I always have a good time when I’m in there, good convos and good vibes all around. If you want a good tattoo, come here. He has also done my nose piercings and nipple piercings flawlessly. A must go to spot.

First time at True Blue Tattoo and I was very happy to find that the shop was very clean. I am very pleased with the art work... truthfully, it exceeded my expectations! My husband and I celebrated our eleven year anniversary by getting matching salamander tattoos! Chris at True Blue captured perfectly what we wanted and blew us away with his flawless artistic abilities! He was patient and professional. And also super freaking chill! We will be returning and we genuinely appreciate the work he did for us! Highly recommend True Blue Tattoo!!

Killy did my tattoo on Wednesday and he did an amazing job. It was my first one and I was a little nervous. He talked to me a lot asked me how I was doing and just general conversation to keep me feeling comfortable. I will definitely go back in the future if I decide to get another. He also fixed my nose ring and was very gentle.

I really enjoyed working with Chris to make my tattoo. I had an idea in mind and he was very honest, polite and kept it straight with me. He made what I was imaging better than I imagined. I am very impressed and grateful for his fun personality, open-mindedness and completely met my expectations. Beyond impressed!

I got my first tattoo from True Blue in September by Chris, and it turned out great, exactly how I wanted. My friend and I then made a joint appointment this February. We were asked to send a reference photo two weeks in advance of the appointment, which we did. We got an email back from Chris in which he let us know he received our references and expressed no concerns. Upon arriving, Chris asked us what we were there for and we told him we had an appointment. He responded by telling us that we had not sent him any references. We then showed him the email in which we did and he said that he must have deleted it. As I began to show him the pictures I had, both designs I had drawn, he immediately became very defensive and irritated and explained that the simplistic, black outline tattoos I had requested were an embarrassment to his "name" and that if I had looked at his portfolio I would understand that my request was not to the level of his work. I told him that this was the design I wanted, and he responded by saying that he could do it if he could draw it in a way he felt was up to his standards, as to not tarnish his name and reputation, which he was very adamant about. He suggested that I would have regrets and receive criticism for the tattoo, should I continue with my original design. The conversation came across as very condescending and aggressive and made both my friend and I very uncomfortable and caused us to question our decision to go forward with the appointment. Had he explained to me in a more calm and professional manner that he simply needed to clean up the lines of my design I would have been more open to working with him. This seemed to be a manageable issue with a very simple solution, however the way it was addressed was incredibly out of proportion. As he went into the back to begin drawing, my friend and I decided that we were not comfortable continuing the appointment based on Chris's unprofessional and hostile attitude. A moment later the owner approached us and asked if he could help resolve the issue. He seemed to see that we were uncomfortable and asked to see the design and see if there was anything he could to continue the appointment. We politely refused and left the establishment. Having been to True Blue once before I was confident that my friend and I were in a safe and professional studio, unfortunately this was not the case, and we left very disappointed. I definitely will not be back and would not recommend.

Chris was awesome. Was fun to be around and did an excellent job. More than happy with the job. Turned a water color into a tattoo with very little change

Chris did an amazing job on my SILs tattoo. His art itself was amazing, and he really heard and worked with her to make sure it was both what she wanted, and utilized his abilities to the highest level. He was upfront about expectations when it came to having a guest in while the tattoo was being done and made the whole experience 100x easier.

The wife and I went here to get matching tattoos for our 11th Anniversary. Our artist Chris was absolutely fantastic! Will definitely be back.
