Went for the apprentice special. Jackie was the only reason that I went into that shop. She did amazing work. The shop however and the owner… was unacceptable. The owner seemed sketchy and very odd. I was uncomfortable. If you value your health please rethink even entering this shop.

Do yourself a favor and don’t come here. This shop was disgusting. The floors were sticky and grimy, there was trash around and used needles (from tattoos from other clients) lying out. Used paper towels from other clients. No AC (even with it being 90 degrees) and the air was so dusty I felt like I couldn’t breathe. The front of the shop wasn’t even useable because of all the stuff laying around. It was fowl. Not to mention the owner was rude, and honestly super sketchy. Looks like a drug house in there 🤢

Mekenna. AKA Kenna Dess. I shake my head in pity. Typical Karen, only you are in your early twenties and living off your bf's 85 year old dad. Usually I do not respond to such nonsense, but your posts only make Jackie look bad, as cleaning while she worked was her responsibility. Not that you would know anything about responsibility as none of you can hold a job. You aren't even a customer. You only date Jackie's brother. But you got on here and showed me a bad review of a tattoo Jackie had done that was washed out one time, so I kinda got the gist of the type of person you are beforehand.
My suggestion to you would be to get a job, stop living off of elderly people, get off EBT, and maybe enroll in some therapy.

Kind of a creepy atmosphere and employee's a little odd but after spending some time there it has a charm. Good inexpensive tattoos that the artist mostly free-handed after me and three friends were walk ins. Definitely surprised by the results.

Star is obviously beautiful as can be. But she's super down, and a great friend to me .
Aside from those Banks my review is not bias whatsoever any of the artist that you go to at 8 Up Ink is going to treat you with the same great respect that star provides along with d amazing service not to mention she is a phenomenal tattoo artist as well as the other artists that they had working disestablishment. normally such great work is going to cost you hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars not at this shop . They are by far the best tattoo company or establishments to go to in Missouri. For just such an amazing quality of work for the price it is astonishing.
