Robbie Lopez is who did my tattoos. Very friendly and Very light handed. Talked to me through the whole thing about my preferences on color and centered where I wanted both. Neither of these tattoos hurt. Even today they don't hurt. It was an excellent experience. I feel like I've betrayed my normal shop but I think I found my new go to guy. The next day they still haven't started to crust or scab. They're healing perfectly.

I have done every tattoo at a different shop and I finally found where I will continue to go to get all of my tattoos from here on out! Robbie has a super light hand and just puts you at ease throughout the entire process. Overall I had a fantastic experience.

Robbie is an amazing tattoo artist and the best conversationalist while doing the tattoo! This is the second tattoo I have gotten here and I won't go anywhere else! Highly recommended!!!

Got my first tattoo by Robbie Lopez, along with my second and third. The third was the largest. It has been 1.5 years later at this point, and I am still waiting for him to finish it. I have have 6+ appointments that he has canceled. 3 of which I spent 2 hours waiting in his lobby just to have him tell me to go home. Every time I contacted him since, asking him when he can finish it, he says soon. The last time I talked to him, we got into an argument about him not finishing it. I brought up him canceling my appointments, and he did not care. Then months later he has the audacity to text me asking me if I want to get it finished, and I reply that I did not have the money anymore, and if he had made the appointment when I wanted it, not when he wanted it, he would have gotten his money.

I am very dissatisfied with my third tattoo. There are a lot of visual mistakes, that were not on the original drawing.

Now I am looking for another artist to fix and finish his last piece, and someone to take my business permanently. I could have dealt with the mistakes, and him fixing them, if he wasn't so flakey and mean about missing my appointments. I will never go to him again, even for my touch ups. I am sure I can find a local KC artist who will be willing to fix and touch up all the work he has done. He is not getting a penny more from me.

My son and I walked in without an appointment and each had a tattoo done by Katie. We were beyond satisifed with the results and highly recommend her. The staff was very friendly and the prices couldn't be beat. We will definitely visit Rose Tattoo & Katie again.

Robbie is amazing! My Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, and Catwoman portraits are beautiful. I get compliments all the time

Got a horrible tattoo done here by someone i'm thinking was maybe an apprentice or maybe just some random off the street! My sister and I went to get tattoo's done, we read the reviews for Rose Tattoo, they we good overall, but when we got there the guy was rude and seemed annoyed b/c HE couldn't understand what I wanted. He finally put the stencil on, I still wasn't impressed, but he said he could free hand the changes I wanted. Needless to say bad idea! I'm in the process of trying to find someone who can/will fix it, but no one wants to touch it! Not sure if the other artists at Rose are good, but MY experience with, I think his name was Josh (could be way off), was terrible.

I was stood up for an appointment, none of my calls or texts were answered and I never could get a hold of anyone after this. Very unprofessional. Also, the pictures shown of the shop online are misleading. It is a hole in the wall, back alley shop with no signs, no front door or anything. Luckily my friend and I got into Grimm Tattoo that same hour and were treated well and with respect. Even Grimm's artists were more apologetic for Rose Tattoo Parlor than they were!
