Kelli is our go to artist. My husband and I have searched for an artist for our needs. She has the best line work in the cities. She understands what we want. And we are so happy with her work.

I saw Dusty, he was super nice! It was my first tattooβ¦. He was understanding and explained the pain and to breath through it.. it wasnβt bad!! I will for sure go back to Dragonland. The shop was recommended to me by a friend that also got a tattoo here. Everyone is very personable and friendlyβ¦ it was a great experienceβ¦

I had a very talented artist work on my back tattoo, but she had a poor work ethic. Terrible communication, never got any sketches before the appointment even though they said she would contact me, no communication whatsoever. She never checked in with me to see if I needed a break, even though this was my first custom piece (previously only getting flash tattoos). She also didn't review the allergy sheet with me beforehand and put on an adhesive wrap, which resulted in hives (as shown in the second picture). If she had told me before applying the wrap that it was adhesive I would have told her I'm allergic to adhesive, but she didn't tell me until after she applied it, which was very frustrating. I've heard great reviews about this shop, but I wish my experience was better.

I followed John to this studio from a different one and I am blown away how much better this establishment is in all aspects. You can feel a kindred sense of belonging between the staff, the studio is clean and bright and the atmosphere is amazing. I already knew John was the best and am so happy to see him thriving here π I love how when he was done with my art, he showed it to all the other coworkers and received so many compliments. What a great way to build each other up!! If you're interested in his work, he has an Instagram and his work is amazing. I even had the pleasure of having pictures of my tattoo taken in their fancy photo studio. First and only time I've ever felt like a model π€£

I never write reviews, but I have a say, Dragonland is the best. I got my first tattoo here 10 years ago from Steph and just got two from Kelli yesterday and they always knock it out of the park. Kelli was amazing at working with me on new designs and I can't believe how incredible they turned out. I'm jazzed for my next big project with her this spring. Shahn stopped over while I was getting tattooed yesterday and he is just so cool. The studio is clean and organized, everyone is knowledgeable and friendly, and I've never had a bad experience here. I have so much fun every time. This is my go-to studio and I will be coming back for many years to come!

Dragonland is the only place I would⦠and have gone to. I have received five tatoos from them., and have been impressed by the extreme high quality of all the art work on my skin. Easy to work with and very professional. I highly recommend.

The level of talent and professionalism here is unsurpassed!! The vibe in the shop is next level for sure.. I have been a patron for almost 10 years, and just when I don't think it can get any better, I am blown away!! I ONLY recommend dragonland for anyone in search of art work!! I only see Dan, however I've seen work from every artist there! If your looking for some artwork, look no further, this place is beyond premier. Everyone is friendly, constantly making sure you are comfortable and cleanliness isn't even a fair word to use when describing how immaculate this facility is..

Absolutely loved how my tattoo came out. Dusty is just awesome! and super down to earth. Very talented artist and I highly recommend Dusty. I most certainly will be back for my other tattoos at this shop. Dusty is my go to and Iβm happy to have found an artist here in Minnesota. Please visit DragonLand, you wonβt be disappointed!

Great experience with John and Dragonland. I initally had a fairly simple idea, but after going in the first time for the tattoo, John and I discussed the concept more and agreed on a more robust idea. He was cool with the re-schedule and drew up and made a dope tattoo. Will definitely be back for my next one!

Unfortunately the experience my wife and I had here was disappointing. We waited several months for our consultation, and when we signed up we were told to bring lots of references so that we could sit down with an artist and plan out a custom tattoo. When we arrived, we were called up for our "consultation" which consisted of about 10 minutes spent standing at the reception counter while people came and went around us.
We tried to talk through some of our ideas, but it quickly became clear that the artist we met was just waiting for us to pick a single image and call it a day. Their attitude was just cold. We started off by complimenting their work (they were obviously very talented) and trying to build a connection but it felt like they clearly didn't want us there. No real interest in designing anything custom, not much of a response given to any of the ideas we put out. They told us it would be $500 and a 5 month wait to get a tattoo about the size of a hand print, and even that would essentially just be their rendition of one of the existing pictures we brought in.
We felt sort of bewildered and went ahead with the $100 deposit, thinking maybe we could email the artist and work on something more compelling, but after sleeping on it we decided the experience was just not at all what we were hoping for. We called to cancel, and were told that the deposit is non-refundable in all cases. I could understand this position if the artist had seriously devoted any of their time, but we felt like even the 20-25 minutes total we spent in the store was just a bother to them. Granted, we could have asked before paying, but overall it's left us feeling like we spent $100 to be told "Sure we'll tattoo you, but we don't really care if you like how it goes."
Everything else about the shop was nice, great atmosphere, clearly skilled artists, I'm sure they use safe practices, etc.
