When my husband and I decided to finally get inked together we did a ton of research. We wanted a dragon(specifically a Hungarian Horntail from Harry Potter) We found this gorgeous gem of a tattoo shop. When we walked inside and was promptly greeted by Meg, she was very friendly and easy to talk to. We explained to her what we were thinking of getting and she gave us a suggestion on an artist that would fit what we wanted. After talking to Davy Broyles, and showing him what we'd like and discussing size and placement we set a date for our appointment.
Davy absolutely blew us away. He was able to take the photo we sent and make it so much more. He made the whole experience calm but fun. He was very considerate when a break was needed. He even provided a snack for my husband halfway through his 3.5 hour session. (His spans a good portion of his back while mine is smaller on my shoulder.) Mine took a little over an hour.
My niece and I have plans to head back and get something small together next year. Davy will be the artist we return to. I can't say enough great things about him. If you're thinking of getting a new tattoo be sure to check him out.

Every experience I've had at Dearly Departed has been exceptional. The staff is super welcoming and the talent in that building is unmatched. I'm near completion of a sleeve with Mark Clifford and he has impressed me every step of the way. I verbalized what I was looking for and he designed and flawlessly executed the exact look and feel that I wanted. I highly recommend Dearly Departed to anyone looking for a first tattoo or an additional tattoo; you won't be disappointed.

Highly recommend. Place is amazing and the staff are top notch. I’ve gotten 3 tattoos from Matt there and am never disappointed in the art or the experience. They are always on time and take great care of you. None of the usual tattoo shop snobbery or attitudes. The shop is in a great area and is a cool old building with lots of fun stuff to look at on the inside. And the artists all have different styles so you will likely find one to fit your needs. Check their work out! You won’t be disappointed.

This place is awesome! Mark Clifford is a very knowledgeable and skilled tattoo artist. The place is clean and everyone is very welcoming. The design and tattoo process was flawless and Mark is amazing at not only drawing what you want and working with you but translating that to your skin. Great experience! Highly recommend.

Megan greeted us with a warm smile, and gave us the tour. All of the artist are super friendly, professional, and willing to answer any questions!

Unreal at its finest type of atmosphere, I got my tattoos done by Mark and he was attentive, easy going, and simply a kind person. Gave insight into the tattoo and made it into something unreal. Seems like the staff is there in the name of art. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dearly Departed, specifically Kennedy Peterson! My wife & I have both gotten several pieces from Kennedy. She's an amazing artist, listens to our thoughts/concerns/revisions, and makes us feel comfortable and at ease. The shop is spacious, clean, and allows for privacy during sessions.
