Zoe did an amazing job on a tattoo I’ve wanted for years! I’ve been nervous to get it because I was so afraid it wouldn’t look right and I’d be disappointed. I’m so so happy that I finally decided to do this. Zoe did such an incredible job making this happen and absolutely love it. The shop was great, I was comfortable the entire time, I cannot wait to go in for my next one.

Hanna at Hive was the BEST! This was my first tattoo I got from her and she did a phenomenal and beautiful work of art! She is so talented and the best artist to work with! I highly recommend her!! Thank you Hanna!!

I had an incredible experience at Hive Tattoo Studio. My sister and I got our tattoos from Kera Hocking, and from the beginning consult to applying the bandage, she was incredible to work with. Her designs were full of all the colour and life we were hoping to see, and throughout the entire tattooing session she was excellent about her worksite staying clean, checking in with us to check for pain levels and breaks needed, and was an absolute delight to talk with through our entire session. The quality of her work on our tattoos is far beyond that of an apprentice, with precise line work and incredible skill with watercolours. We will be coming back to Hive for any future tattoos, and I cannot wait to work with Kera and the rest of the Hive crew on future works.

My experience at Hive was perfect. Hanna maintains a spotlessly clean shop with a fun, friendly atmosphere. They start with a consultation, and it’s very clear and simple to schedule an appointment (and get multiple reminders). I also noticed that Hanna seems (I’m no expert but it sure seemed this way) to be really quick to invest in excellent top-end materials to support her artists… other tattoos I’ve gotten used lower-end equipment, from what I could tell.

My artist was Kera, currently an apprentice at the shop. She was absolute gold, start to finish. She was friendly and engaging, and an excellent listener. She took my ideas and pieced them together beautifully. Then, when I made a late change/ addition to the design, she took it in stride and made it work perfectly. Her art is lovely and detailed, and she is very kind in paying attention to how you feel while being tattooed.

I was extremely happy with my experience at Hive, and won’t have reason to go anywhere else for tattoos as long as they are in town!

Got my first bigger piece done by Kera! She was absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable and such a nice person to talk to☺️ She was very patient with the process and made sure it was perfect! I definitely will be back and recommending this place to anyone that wants a tattoo!

I found out about Hive because Hanna was a regular at my job. I followed her on instagram and fell in love with her entire studios work, especially Alex’s. I booked a consult and Alex was very informative and easy going. At my appointment, she was very accommodating and understanding while i explained that my blood sugar may drop during my tattoo.
The tattoo is amazing! I love the details and the shading especially. the size and placement is perfect as well. I will definitely be booking with Alex again.

I've been going to hanna since before she had her own shop. Over the years I've never been disappointed with any of my tattoos. I get so many compliments on my tattoos! She is the only one I go to anymore. Honestly I let her have artistic freedom and I'm never disappointed that way! If you want something custom I have to recommend coming here.

I saw Alex today for some black line work tattoos. She was amazing, very easy to talk with and super talented. I even had a moment during our session when I felt like I could pass out, all I said was "hey I think I need to stop for a minute" and Alex jumped to action tilting the back of the chair, putting my feet up and even getting me a snack! A few minutes went by and I felt much better and she went right back to work. All around great experience with her, just as described by her neighboring artist Kera, who I seen a few months ago for a couple fantastic pieces! Love Hive studio and the artists, definitely will be back again!!!

Best tattoo experience I've had. Hanna is a true master- it was a joy watching her work. She made me feel comfortable and at ease and the design is insanely gorgeous. Better than anything I imagined. Can't wait to go back!
