Backdoor Ink Tattoo Studio

I met Robert through a mutual family friend who has relatives with some of his work, so I decided to have him do the honors of tattooing my roses. Although we aren’t quite done, 3 sessions later and it is honestly one of my favorite pieces. Robert doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to anything tattoo related, is insanely sanitary, and super friendly all around. I cannot wait to go back in April to get my piece finished by him!

I came here for the first time a couple months ago and man I couldn’t have been happier such a clean and welcoming environment. I got my tattoo done by Smitty and once again I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. Smitty’s easy going and an absolutely amazing artist he makes you feel at home I couldn’t recommend a better artist than Smitty 5/5 stars without a doubt. Only place I’ll go from this point on.

The environment was great. Nice and clean shop. My Artist Eileen was great. Very professional. She is an awesome person and did a GREAT JOB on my tattoo. Definitely going back. Five stars all the way!!!

One of the best and cleanest tattoo shops I’ve ever stepped into. All the artists and apprentices were amazing. I had Eileen, she was awesome. Light hand and extremely personable to talk to while she was tattooing me. Made my sitting comfortable. Will be coming back!

This place is absolutely amazing! I will not go anywhere else but here! Their work is incredible, every single person working here are very kind, very patient and walk you through every bit of your tattoo and make sure you feel like you're at home. I had a mental health awareness tattoo done in August and Eileen was so incredibly sweet and personable! Made me feel like i knew her for years! The 2nd time going, my fiance got a Dragon Ball Z tattoo on his arm and he was very anxious about it, as he has autism and has a difficult time processing things on occasion, but Robert was so kind, so understanding and kept talking about all of my fiance's interests and took breaks when my fiance needed them! Made my fiance feel very comfortable the whole time! We've had tattoo artists mock my fiance about his pain tolerance and make fun of him the whole time. Here, they talked him through it and calmed him down immediately with so much patience and kindness!!! Thank you!!!!!

Bobby is an amazing artist and cares about his work. He took time to go in and do detail work and offered free touch ups after it heals. The work is sharp and looks amazing.

I got two tattoos from Marley and I love how they turned out! Booking was easy and my appointment was really quick. She is easy to talk to and made me feel at ease. She also didn’t mind that I had to wait a bit to pay the deposit ($80). I would 100% go back to Backdoor in the future!

Smitty (Robert) was amazing!!! He took his time to listen and work with the tattoos I wanted and he even put in his own creative thoughts and what placements would work best for me. He was so kind and gentle tattooing and he even convinced my mom to get tattooed by him!!!! 100% recommend Smitty or anyone at Backdoor ink Tattoo

Had an amazing experience here, once again!! my tattoo artist Robert did a great job capturing the vibe I want in my new arm piece! Coming back to add some floral elements to the piece, I could not be happier!!! The photos are the stencil, line work, and the finished piece with shading and detail! Love it!!!

Robert is so creative and amazing! I’m so happy with my tattoo and service I received from him. I would highly recommend anyone to go to this shop. They are all kind, talented and the shop is extremely clean.
