Five Star Tattoo

Such a great experience at Five Star! I called earlier that day because I had a tattoo idea and I was visiting Louisville and they worked with me to get me in that same day! Abbey did my tattoo and when I came in, her design was even better than the one I had in my head. She was so kind (as was all the staff!) and she gave me exactly what I wanted! I’m happy I was able to visit this spot and will definitely come back with any ideas when I’m in Louisville next!

I have been tattoo'd by Z three separate times, and each tattoo was done beautifully. She is an amazing artist who listens to her clients on their design ideas while adding her own stylistic touch. On top of doing great work, she's also just an awesome person and makes the experience enjoyable. The last tattoo she did for me (pictured) was pretty painful, and she made sure to take breaks and make sure I was comfortable. I can't recommend her enough.

This is a review purely for Z, I got a tattoo done by her before she moved to this location. She did my tattoo and one for my sister. She is a great artist and was very polite, she put up with my needs and concerns and made any changes that I needed with out complaints. I am very pleased with the outcome of mine and my sister's tattoos and will be returning to Z for future work in the not too distant future.

Had the most amazing experience with Z! She did a wonderful job on my tattoo. She was very patient with me when I requested she reposition the stencil 3 times, once we were happy with the placement the rest of the appointment was a breeze! I’d recommend Z to any of my friends, and I believe 4 of them already have artwork done by Z. Comfortable with environment and good music!

Professionalism is a real thing. So is courtesy. There’s a lack here. They do great work beyond that.

I have gotten two tattoos from Z and she is professional, clean, and so talented!!! She has such a versatile style as well. Personality wise she’s a good listener and super sweet and consistent. I can’t recommend her enough.

I was tattooed by Z a few weeks ago and they were hands down my favorite person I have ever been tattooed by! Very professional and made sure I comfortable every step of the way. My tattoo healed very beautifully and they even offered free touch-ups if needed. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for more in the future!

I emailed Z with some vague ideas about what I wanted and she came up with a really cool piece that I love even more than the inspiration I originally sent. I was so excited when I saw the final product—she perfectly captured what I had explained. Super creative artist and was very professional and kind throughout the entire process. Definitely recommend!

A couple months ago I got an astrological chest tattoo from Z. Throughout the process, Z was extremely warm and professional, taking the time to ensure I got the piece that I wanted. When coming up with the drawing, Z made sure I got a unique design that no one else would have. Z offered maybe 10 sketches of different options and we took one and edited it several times until we got it just right. I would highly recommend Z for your next tattoo if you want a piece with amazing attention to detail as well as a tattoo artist that will make you feel comfortable and heard through the process. I’ve been tattooed by Z several times now at Five Star. Every single time I have received exactly what I envisioned, but cooler to be fair, because Z is so talented. Z’s work is solid & consistent. The environment is always very chill, friendly, & enjoyable. She even fixed an old finger tattoo that I absolutely loathed from years ago, & it makes me very happy now. Highly recommend!
