Idle Hands Tattoo & Piercing

I recommend this place to anyone who needs a piercing of any kind! I got my ears pierced here (firsts, I'm allergic to nickel and had them pierced 3 different times before realizing that I was) and it was just a great experience overall. They fit me in with no appointment on a Saturday. The tools were sanitized, and the jewelry wasn't too expensive. About 5 months after getting them pierced, I took them out because I almost passed out putting new ones in. It seemed like they closed up after a day, so I called them, and they told me to come in so they can open them back up. They only had to stretch the holes, and there was only a $20 service fee. The only thing about this place that might be a negative is the fact that it's cash only, but they have an ATM inside.

They were great, clean, and professional! After being tossed around by other places with horrible pricing and bad customer service, I am sticking to Idle Hands for my next tattoo. Especially since Addictions couldn't even get me booked after trying 4 times, as a 13 year customer since my first tattoo there, I was not impressed with Addictions. Oh well! Then Symbolic tattoo wanted $300 👀 and they couldn't make it smaller? Nope! Idle Hands had me covered! They quoted $140 for the same tattoo AND we're able to digitally resize it for me. They truly saved the day. Highly recommend! ♥️

I've gotten both tattoos and piercings here and I have absolutely no complaints. Everyone I've met is super friendly and professional! Even took my grandma here to get her first piercings because I trust them to do a good job 👏

Staff is very nice but the prices are way over priced. I have larger tattoos that I literally paid half the price. Went in with my cousin and thought the quote they gave was for both not each. Don't get me wrong I like the tattoo, the quality is great but shop around because tattoos should not cost that much.

We travel 3 hours just to come to Idle Hands. Great artists, great prices and great customer service. I would highly recommend them.

throughout the years ive gotten piercings at 3 other locations, but today was my first time getting poked at Idle Hands. I will never go anywhere else as long as i live!!! Justin Wenrich is an absolute boss and is the Grand Master of piercing. you wanna talk about a dude that knows his craft inside and out, this is the guy! On top of his skill, he is easy to work with and listened intently to exactly what i wanted done and made it happen. I talked to several other people who work at Idle Hands this evening, besides Justin, Hunter and Kelsey are who i spoke with the most. Those 3 are incredible. Amazing customer service. Professional yet personable staff. Best place in Wichita to get piercings hands down. and far better than any place else in any other city that ive ever been to. I will never go anywhere else. Matt is an amazing artist. He was fast and extremely patient as this was my first tattoo. I am beyond happy with my tattoo from him!

My sister and I had such a good experience getting tattoos here. We came in only a couple hours till close and they were super friendly about everything. They weren’t intimidating and made sure to be very precise about what exactly we wanted. It was her birthday and Ol Crow tattoo shop turned us down after waiting 45 min because their artists “had migraines”. They also told us they’d have to change our designs because it wouldn’t look good at the other shop. Idle Hands was so open and friendly and super willing to make our tattoos look how we wanted. The artist, Ty Dough, even made sure we weren’t in too much pain and had great conversations with us. Seriously, I’ve never had a better experience anywhere else. The prices were great, he worked with us having issues with the ATM, and gave us his card to come back if any lines were messed up. Seriously a fantastic experience and my sister was so glad she had such a good experience on her birthday. Don’t bother with the other shops. This place is the best. I’ve also gotten a tragus and cartilage piercing here in the past and it was great as well. Their new shop is beautiful on the inside also! They stayed open an hour late for us. I turned 65 the end of October and decided to get a tattoo. Ended up at Idle Hands and everyone there was very nice. Savanna did a terrific job. I love my Eeyore tattoo.
