Endorphinden Tattoo

Kris did a beautiful memorial tattoo of my precious pug girl and boy that had crossed the Rainbow Bridge in the last two years. I had a pug with wings, halo, their names and years inside of wings. Her work is absolutely amazing. Kris makes you feel comfortable and relaxed, very easy to talk to, you don't have to worry about holding a conversation with her, she is fun to listen to. She explains everything she is doing before she starts her work. I would highly recommend Kris to anyone. My niece recommended her and I'm so glad she did, she's an amazing woman.

Kris is never short of AMAZING!! I would never go to anyone else for tattoos. She has been tattooing my dad for my entire life which is why I was lucky enough to have her start tattooing me. Her shop is always so professional, clean, and I am always left an amazing piece of art. If you are ever looking for a great tattoo artist, exquisite shop, amazing environment and someone who can make your vision come to life. Definitely go visit Kris!!

I went to Endorphinden Tattoo on recommendation from a friend and Kris did not disappoint! She did a beautiful heartbeat paw print tattoo for me in memory of two fur babies that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge in the past two years. It was shaded masterfully and the detail was immaculate. This was my second tattoo but my first experience with Kris and she made the atmosphere so friendly and relaxed, she makes you feel right at ease. I will definitely be returning to Endorphinden for all my tattoos!

Got my first tattoo here, Kris is so very friendly and warm that all my nerves completely disappeared when I stepped into her shop. The tattoo is perfect and exactly the design I wanted!

I was not in her establishment for more than 5 minutes and didn’t even get a tattoo and it was one of the WORST experiences I have ever had.

I came to get a memorial tattoo of my late brother-in-law and as soon as my friend and I walked in, miss kRiS was immediately rude and passive aggressive towards me. She asked what she could do for me today and I said I was here to get a tattoo (obviously???) and then she proceeded to tell me that i was *late* to a WALK IN APPOINTMENT because there were two other girls standing there. I was confused but then I asked if i would be able to call ahead to ensure a time for a walk in (since I assumed the issue was that there was other people there) and she said “Well then that wouldn’t be walk in. That would be an appointment.” Just very rude and condensing, talked down to me as if I was a child and made both me and my friend extremely uncomfortable. After this, my friend and I tried to leave two different times and she kept talking: complaining about how she’s been there for hours and how it was only just her working as if it wasn’t HER shop, which i can only assume was a justification for her tone and choice of words.

I was excited about the tattoo and commemorating my brother-in-law and she ruined my entire mood, and I will never step foot in this place of “business” again and neither should you!!

Kris did my first tattoo ever today and I thought she and the whole experience were fantastic. She's creative, smart, talented and she explained each step through the entire process. The fiddle scroll art looks great and she used my thumbnail sketches while improving and perfecting the visual. Thanks you, Kris.

Kris is wonderful! She is a true artist! Her shop (2203 F Street, Iowa City) is comfortable and clean. Her attention to detail and her desire to create exactly what you envision makes her THE BEST!

I will happily evangelize Endorphinden Tattoo to just about anyone interested. I wanted to see a female artist based on my own physical comfort levels, and after seeing several beautiful pieces on friends of mine over the years, all of whom described the experience with a glow, I settled on coming here for my first tattoo. Ms Evans is experienced, skilled, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Conversations with her throughout the process were both frank and fun, always informative, and I felt welcomed and cared for in a clean, well-lit, professional space. I came to her with a largely complete design (and a second, subsequent tattoo), but I've also seen fantastic artwork that she helped clients develop. I'm extremely pleased with how she interpreted my design onto my skin, and both tattoos healed up beautifully with very little fuss or discomfort. I look forward to working with her for more pieces in the future.

Chris knows her art. The client always comes 1st. I love our banter. I think she's done over 12 for me. I'll definitely be back.
