Matt is an incredibly talented, professional and experienced artist! He’s able to bring my ideas to life better than I could have imagined. He’s even flawlessly covered multiple not so pretty tattoos and made them my favorite pieces. Matt pays close attention to detail and doesn’t cut corners. I’m SO grateful he opened up in the valley! Such quality work and such a great human being as well! Matt’s business and family are such an asset to our community. Matt is an exceptional tattoo artist, who made my first tatoo experience fun and easy. He made up the design better than I was even hoping and did excellent work. He is very friendly and patient. I couldn't have been happier with the experience!

I am thrilled to have met Matt Crow as a professional tattoo artist located in Hailey, Idaho (Sun Valley area). I selected him personally based on his wildly creative and unique work over all the tattoo artists in the Boise area. Matt is incredibly personable and I wanted him to complete a full sleeve for me. I couldn’t be happier with the ongoing results. His studio is immaculate, his demeanor is warm and relational, and his expertise as a tattoo artist is of the highest caliber. If you wonder if Matt Crow’s work is for you then I suggest you consider a consultation with him. For me, selecting an artist that understands others, is willing to be bold, and who is literally so gifted in creativity was most important. I am blown away by his use of color on others. I chose though to stay with black for me and I couldn’t be happier with his creations. I give Mountain Rose Tattoo Studio the highest rating possible.

Was waiting for years for the right artist/brother to come through. Matt is it! He drew an original design for me from just some references/styles I gave him. Was on point 1st draft! He even went out and bought a new cross hatching gun for our second session. After 2 - 3 hour sessions.
I know reference it as “Great Therapy”
Came in as a client left as a friend!

After living in the valley my whole life, it's a blessing to have a tattoo artist of this caliber finally set roots in Hailey! Matthew was kind, professional, and above all an amazing artist! The shop is clean, open and uncluttered giving way for a relaxing and pleasant experience! I cannot give more than 5 stars but I would if I could. Go here now if you are looking for a tattoo!!

I came from out of town to ski at Sun Valley Resort and stopped by this shop. The owner was extremely friendly and professional. Super easy to work with and had solid ideas to contribute. His lines are bold and clean and if you’re looking for a solid traditional tattoo he’s your guy. I will definitely be making a trip back for some more rad work by Matt!
