Kevin is an amazing artist. Thinks outside the box. You can tell he loves what he does. I got a pretty large tattoo that took 5 hours. It's one of the best ones I've ever gotten. Even though we started with a template, he made it custom and I could not be more satisfied. This is my new go-to for the next one 😁
The shop is clean and they go through great lengths to sanitize equipment and keep the area as sterile as possible.

Allie is amazing !!! She’s so sweet and honest about everything, and you never feel pressured in her presence. She micro bladed my eyebrows and tattooed a planchette on my leg recently and I love both!! Her station is definitely a safe space for people :) Definitely recommend the shop and her, very clean, very honest, and great people!

Rich Baroque of Ivy and Oak in Lake Park was BY FAR the most compassionate, understanding, and genuinely helpful artist I have ever worked with. I'm disabled with a connective tissue disorder, as well as a rapid cycle heart rate. I am still learning how to navigate these disabilities, and I've never before sat for a tattoo as large/long as the one Rich did for me.

I'm an artist, and I came with my own design in hand. Rich decided it needed very little altering to work as a tattoo, and the changes he made were so subtle, but absolutely the right move. He brought my art to life through the skill of his own, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! This is a magical piece that I will always treasure.

If his dedication and skill weren't enough, Rich helped me through the entire process with my accessibility needs centered and never once showed even a tinge of annoyance when I had to pause and shake. Didn’t get scared when I had to stop for an anti-nausea med, and offered to stop at any time- even when all we had left was one quarter sized area of shading and the highlights (less than 5min of work). He helped me navigate what a typical body might experience, versus what my body does, and helped me form a realistic plan for any future work.

The entire staff I was fortunate to talk with was incredibly kind, inclusive, and overall just absolutely rad humans. While I'm confident I will return to Rich for future ink, I know that I would feel confident getting work done by any of the artists I met during my appointment. My tissue disorder makes it difficult to manage my body's response to continuous pain (shaking, high heart rate, even dizzy spells) and I have always felt as though I was making the job harder for a tattoo artist, but at Ivy and Oak, I felt like I had control over my experience and my body's limits.

Thank you, Rich, and everyone at Ivy and Oak, for making beautiful art accessible to someone like me. I know that the dedication and care that you show to not only the gorgeous art you create, but to the people you create for is an experience I will cherish.

My husband and I go to Ivy & Oak about once a month. We LOVE the whole shop. All of the artists are friendly, warm, and make you feel like friends! Noah is our artist and he does such incredible work every time we see him! We will be lifelong customers for sure!

Walk in client. Took my mom in to get matching tattoos and we had the best experience with Allie. It was my mom’s very first tattoo and Allie made us both feel SUPER comfortable. Amazing personality and equally talented! ☺️

Outstanding. My artist, Mark, is not only incredibly detailed with the needle, but also gentle, accurate, and fast. The artwork hanging above his station and around the shop speaks to his artistic prowess and passion. His love and dedication to any canvas shines though on every piece. On top of all that, his bedside manner is fantastic - time flew by while I was in the chair. The atmosphere of the whole shop is that of a tightly bonded, professionally bonded work family. These guys all know their stuff and banter with each other just as much as their customers. I loved it.

Mark is my guy. I'm not looking for another artist, ever. I've got mine. You want a tattoo that will look absolutely beautiful and have a damn good time doing it, go to Ivy & Oak.

I absolutely adore Ivy & Oak. I have been going there since 2018, I had two tattoos done by an artist who has now moved on & the past two tattoos have been with Sam. I cannot say enough good things about her & Ivy + Oak in general. Sam is super attentive to detail & your vision, along with that she’s a super dope girl to get tatted by! I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a professional, clean and thorough tattoo artist. Sam will most definitely bring your visions to life with her amazing art & attention to detail.

Kevin was the best. He got us in quick and is a fantastic artist. It was my first time and he quickly put me at ease. I plan on always being tattooed by him from now on.
