I impulsively decided I wanted to get both sides of my nostrils pierced and I went to Apex after looking at the reviews of a few other piercing shops. I’m pretty quiet and was nervous to get these piercings as the only ones I had at the time were my lobes and I have had them forever. I don’t like pain or needles so I was super scared. Though he was a little intimidating, Amen was absolutely wonderful and after talking you can definitely see his pride and passion when it comes to what he does. He explained everything very clearly and was quick with the piercings. I took them out about a month later to clean them and they closed overnight so he repierced them the next day for free. Since then I have had my tongue, second lobes, septum and belly button pierced by him and I have had absolutely no issues with healing. As a matter of fact, it was much easier and quicker than I thought. He uses top quality jewellery and it definitely reflects in the easiness of the healing process. He also always reminds me that he’s here to help if they come out or I need to change me jewellery. 100% recommend!!

After getting my nose pierced I was told I could start changing them a few weeks in, my nose started having a bad reaction so I came to this shop instead, they got me fixed up quick and gave me proper aftercare instructions. Very nice and professional. Highly recommend.

Amen is the #1 body artist in Grand junction not only has he done my piercings my wife's piercings and all of my kids he has done multiple of my friends he has fixed my wife piercings that other local body artists have messed up there is no one else in Grand junction that I would go to I hope Apex is here forever and I can't tell you how comfortable he makes you feel when getting your piercing or body modification

Went to get my nose pierced with my sister and Aman definitely knows what he's doing, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
My sister's nose piercing started to sink in and he replaced it for free the next day. 100% would recommend!

I've gotten my septum and my nose piercings done here! Amen is spectacular! And the jewerly is very clean and there's so many unique styles to choose from! A very alternative and vibey environment in the shop. Tons of art and great things to see. Good Vibes, Good Energy, 24/7 🙏

Myself and a group of girlfriends all got piercings from Amen, ranging from cartilage to nose. ALL of them but one had to be fixed by professional piercers who said that they were pierced wrong and with too short of posts. Two of us had jewelry retrieved from inside of our ears with some mild swelling.
All of this is bad enough, but add to that Amen's terrible personality and the whole experience was not worth it. I saw him snap at/yell at every single person who stepped foot in the shop. The five star reviews on here are baffling...

I called to see if they would let me make an appointment and nobody answered the phone so we went to go over there and there was a sign that said "back in 10 minutes" so I went to find more stuff to do and came back an hour later and the sign was still up.

the place is very nice! i went in today with my younger sibling and father to check out the figures they had. we asked how much they were and the person there seemed slightly annoyed with us. maybe its just my autism and paranoia but idk. might get my septum done here though! the person who works there seems very sweet and they run a good business! -daisy

Words can not express how much I enjoyed my experience here. I'm not going to lie at first I was hesitant because the gentleman working seemed almost arrogant in a way. HOWEVER after deciding to go with Apex I am so excited and I plan on going back for every piercing I intend to get! Once we started having a conversation about work and what got him into it, you can tell the passion he has for what he does! He does a good job because he is proud of what he is doing and after so many years he still enjoys it! I can not recommend this shop enough, if you have been wanting a new piercing GO TO APEX!!
