"1160 Garnet has been a tattoo shop since 2010. Originally called Dimora Art Studio. 2019 saw the end of Dimora Art Studio and in January 2020 just before COVID hit Pacific Beach Tattoo opened in its place. Sole owner Garrett Newby has been tattooing all of his career in pacific beach and helped mike Prather the original owner of Dimora Art Studio open this location RIP “Crash”"

The staff here are very professional and the environment is super clean, their artwork is amazing and they are all super friendly and helpful. I couldn’t find a better place to get a tattoo. I can in for a long session and Garrett did a phenomenal job and it is 100% on par with what I wanted. He is very talented and professional. Thank you all so much

We were in the area from out of state for vacation and able to schedule (and reschedule!) appointments for matching tattoos, with short notice. Everyone we spoke to or met was very nice and professional. The shop itself was kept clean and everyone was wearing masks. Although our requested work was basic and small, they still treated us with respect and gratitude, and did the work as desired. Overall a great experience - we're glad our random selection landing on PB Tattoo!

Excellent service! My friend had just turned 18 and he wanted to spontaneously get tattoos. Since business is limited at this time, most places are appointment only but we shot our shot with this place and asked if they had space to take us. And luckily, they had an opening in an hour! It was all of our first times but they made us all very comfortable and calmed our nerves. Overall, great place with good people & clean establishment. Would definitely come back.

My girlfriend and I always go to Eric for ink because he’s so reliable, friendly, and we love his style of work. Last time my girlfriend had an appointment to have Eric finish her foot piece and I ended up getting something done by Garrett while I was there. We picked a flash piece and Garrett was super chill about adding little touches to it. I would 100% recommend both of them to anyone in the San Diego that’s looking to get tatted.
