I went here for my first tattoo and it was an amazing experience. Laura was my artist and she was gentle, funny, and is so talented. I told her my idea and she executed perfectly! There was so much effort put in to my tattoo and not to mention it has been healing so well. The atmosphere was great, and I really enjoyed the other artists company as well. They made my first tattoo an amazing experience!

Great DTLA tattoo shop, very reasonable prices. Been there several times and they always do great work. If your looking for a good artist in downtown, this shop has several great artists, all with unique styles. Check out the shop instagram page to see their work.

Reached out to an artist at this shop to have a custom piece drawn up. Went in, spoke with her for about an hour, she drew up a design and a few days later sent me the lineart, which I approved with very few if any modifications. Said she would send over a colored version shortly. At that point I requested information on putting a deposit down. That was in.....May. I have made MANY attempts across the past 3 months to reach out and have been completely ghosted by this shop and the artist. I won't lie, it's pretty upsetting especially since she drew a custom design and I was ready to schedule the appointment. and now I have to take the art to a different artist because I liked the design she made for me quite a lot. I am very sorry to post such a negative review but this was my experience with this tattoo shop.
Would not recommend Purple Panther if you are looking for a reliable artist.

Great place for tattoos of all styles and designs. Graham is an experienced artist with an eye for placement and a spirit of creativity that brings even the most wild tattoos to life. There is a $60 minimum which is pretty standard, but you can nab a $25 flash tattoo every Tuesday! Great price. Great quality. I couldn't recommend this Hollywood gem more.

Absolutely awful. A woman name Koko (small Asian woman) did this to my face. I highly recommend going to somewhere else. She’s rude. Fake. And caused this to have to my face

Me & two friends went there for 3 small tattoos & we‘re all very happy with them!! our tattoo artist Koko was a very sweet and friendly person, she did an amazing job & even stayed after hours for us. The prices were also very fair & especially for the result super nice! We would definitely recommend this studio & especially tattoo artist Koko!

My friends and I were visiting from Boston,MA a few months ago and got some tattoos! The tattoo artist were really nice and professional. The manager who I believe is the owner did my tattoos, I got 3 quarter size tattoos for $100. They are so neatly done and he was so kind and funny. It was a great experience for us all. Definitely will visit again if I am ever back in LA!
