One of the most unprofessional messed up places i have ever heard of! My sister went and she said wicced couldnβt stop cussing people out for 5 seconds! People coming in and out, coworkers. Just absolutely unprofessional! He then messed up her tattoo and when she called to ask if they would fix it after it healed HE CUSSED HER OUT. Then didnβt apologize when she sent a photo and he agreed it was indeed messed up. He didnβt say sorry for CUSSING HER OUT and said βI see what you mean i could probably fix it up when it healsβ like... no. There are PROFESSIONAL people for tattoos else where!

My son wanted a tattoo in honor of his late step-mom who died last year. Since he is only 17, we drove three hours from Dallas after calling to confirm. When we arrived the first time, the person we spoke with was not there, so we tried the number a few times and he did not answer, but his partner agreed to do the tattoo, since it was just the simple outline of her signature. It took all of ten minutes, but the lines began to fade after a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I decided I wanted to get another tattoo and so did my son. So, he called again to confirm and this time he spoke to the gentleman who did his first tattoo. My son told him that we would be driving in that evening. And again, we showed up a few hours later, only to be told the tattoo artist had to pick his daughter up and would not do either of our tattoos. When I told him that my son had called to confirm we were coming and we had driven over three hours, he said I was accusing him of being unprofessional. I said he was putting words in my mouth and he said he still would not do our tattoos. NOW I am accusing him of being unprofessional. Not only is my son's first tattoo already faded, but we will have to find another shop and make another drive to get our second tattoos. It's too bad, we were prepared to spend about $250, but I am more than happy to take my business elsewhere!

At this tattoo shop you will find free artist with three extreme different techniques and three different results. They all do really great work although one of the artist is not as professional as the rest. The tattoo shop owner has a great eye for detail and his passion for his work is beyond explanation. I find that going to illusions is not only a great experience but you also get a piece of art that you are never going to regret getting. These guys don't just want you to get a tattoo so they can make money they want you to get a tattoo that you like so you'll keep coming back. So basically they do not have a problem with advising you on your work that you choose and making sure that you were absolutely sure that you want it. And they also give you options and ask you questions to make sure they make that design fit you. They have the best prices in all of Texas. And I can guarantee that because I've been around a lot of places and nobody can beat them. They are worth traveling to.

It was horrible. Made a two o'clock appointment and arrived 15 minutes early. Got there and was questioned "why were we getting this certain tattoo" and was told that it "wouldn't be attractive." Was then told to wait 30-45 minutes. Never heard anyone else getting a tattoo. Waited and he never came back out. Between the questions and the wait, our experience was horrible. Would have put 0 stars but it wasn't possible.

Love this place! Wicced is a top notch guy, excellent artist, and fair on pricing. He will also be straight up honest with you and make sure you really want that tattoo before he inks it on you. He has helped the Texarkana community numerous times, just a real all around good person. I highly recommend getting ALL your tattoos from Wicced at Illusions!

Walked in on a Sunday not knowing either artist, got an apt on the spot, even though he was busy atm. Showed up at the appointment time, and he was there and ready. Got a nice size piece, for a nice price too. The artist that did the work was Wicced and he did a good job. Plan to return for future work.

I wanted to get a memorial tattoo for my mom and I was willing to spend several hundred dollars for a good quality piece. Before I had a chance to discuss my design I told the artist that I want to get the tattoo on my left ribs. On my right ribs I have big bold lettering that covers the whole rib cage. When the artist expressed doubts about where I was choosing to put my piece I showed him the tattoo that I already have telling him that I know what I'm doing and I've been through it before. He still continued to try to talk me out of it suggesting several other places on my body to put the piece. I already have tattoos all over my body and each area has a specific plan. I understand that an artist's responsibility is to educate his client but when said client is already showing proof and has their mind set then a true artist would accept the challenge. To me this is the action of a scratcher and not a professional artist.
