Was in Anchorage just for a few days and they squeezed me in. Christian did awesome work on my tattoo and was a super great guy. Will definitely be going again when it's time for another tattoo. Highly recommend

I’ve been getting tattooed for 20yrs and this was the most underwhelming experience I’ve had since that time. Tanner was supposed to be the artist to do the work. Well, we didn’t get there. Paid my deposit and was told that around a day before that I would get a call to come in and go over the art as to make any changes. That never happened. Day of, I receive a text stating his car broke down and needed to push the appointment back an hour or so. Needed to find a ride. Not my problem but it really was no problem, we got a lot of snow that day so I understood. This was around noon. FFW to 5-6 hours later, with zero communication in that time, he tells me his phone and car are broke. What happened to the ride bro? You couldn’t communicate that? Uber doesn’t exist? Guess you couldn’t get a ride or borrow a phone? I had two appointments with this guy. An appointment for each hand. He wanted to do both at the next appointment. I declined because I work with my hands and wanted two separate appointments in order to give healing time, and because obviously he’s unreliable. Well, I was offered my deposit back. He said I’ll Venmo it over, which was over a month ago. Still waiting on that deposit there Tanner? Tell ya what, keep it and buy yourself a clue bro. Your communication is reminiscent of a toddler and your professionalism is pedestrian at best. I took the day off work only to sit around and wait for something, anything. When I reached out to Tanner days later to ask why he ghosted me he told me “I wasn’t his only client”. I may not be his only client but I took time out of my life to research several shops in town to pick this one, took the day off, and waited 2 months for the appointment only to be out the deposit and tattoo. Anyway, cheers and keep doing what your doing I’m sure you’ll go far!

Getting a tattoo is a big deal, it’s on your body forever. The last thing someone will want is a tattoo that reminds them of a negative experience. I would never recommend this shop, especially Tanner.

Tanner did an amazing job on my tattoo, I love it . I was only in Anchorage for my flight home & he worked me that evening. Awesome customer service & I hope to come back to Alaska for another tattoo & vacation of course . Thanks Tanner !

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and professional feel. Prices are reasonable for quality of jewelry and services.

I personally had a couple questions that were able to be answered fairly quickly through messaging and was able to get everything figured out by the next day.
I would recommend for Rachel directly for piercings and after being there a couple times, I will more than likely come back for some tattoos too.

Glade was great! I sat in on the last part of my SO tattoo session. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He made her feel welcome and comfortable throughout the session. Look forward to getting my own work done here! Love the atmosphere too!

We promised our son that when he turned 18 we would get his first tattoo. Jake made our son feel comfortable and show him proper care for tattoo. He did an amazing redesign of our son's concept to fit his body and personality. His friends were amazed as well.

We are just greatful for the whole experience. We know that when we do come back home to Anchorage we know where to go for any other add-ons, not just for our son but for us as well.

Rachael has been my go-to girl for YEARS. I went to her after a bad experience with a piercer in the valley and she far exceeded my expectations. I had been really nervous getting pierced again, but she’s incredibly educated and has a very relaxing presence. She also has an amazing selection of jewelry and can even special order things for you. She’s pierced me 14 times now and every experience is just as fabulous as the last; I’ll never see anyone else for my piercings. Whenever my friends need anything, I bring them all the way into anchorage to see her because I want everyone to experience being pierced by Rachael ❤️

I was unsure, with a name like ultraviolence, but the artists are incredible and the atmosphere of the shop is clean and professional. Cannot recommend highly enough

So clean and beautiful inside. The shop has a very welcoming feeling. The artists there all do phenomenal work. I got my tattoo done by Erin, who was super sweet and did such an amazing job. I cant wait to come back and get more work done by her. I literally could not recommend any other studio as much as I do this one!!! Best tattoo artists in Alaska.

I made an appointment with Tanner one month ago and paid my $100 deposit. I was very impressed with the shop and was excited to get my new ink, so much so that I didn't mind the 4 week wait. The day before Tanner texted me and said He didn't realize I was booked because of a mistake by a former employee. That seemed strange since I came in a week before to get an idea of how much my work would be since he only takes cash. Another artist was able to look up my appointment and took a msg for Tanner to get ahold of me. Never heard from him. Day of the appointment,I get a call an hour before my time saying " I'm running mad behind on my client and can I come in at 5:30 instead of 4?" I do have my own life and responsibilities but I agree, I get caught up in work and run 30min late. Tanner then starts scolding me about how we agreed on a time and that I blew it, He's not doing the tattoo. Asked him if It would interfere with the next client but no, he's going home. I have no patience for unprofessional prima donnas who think it is a privilege for customers to pay them money. Went to Hardline tattoos and the was able to sit down , design my tattoos AND GET THE WORK DONE THAT NIGHT.
