If you’re a fan of American traditional tattooing, ABC Electric Tattoo in downtown Anchorage is 100% the place to be! Evan and Derrick are awesome. I personally got tattooed by Evan after being ghosted by another artist the week prior. Being ghosted was a blessing in disguise though because I was able to visit this gem of a tattoo shop. Evan created a tattoo that was even better than the concept I had brought in. He’s an awesome human and ensures to make sure that his clients and guests are comfortable throughout the process. He made extra sure that the drawing he presented was something that would match the other pieces I already had going on my arm– something that I greatly appreciate. It’s always great to be tattooed by someone who’s genuine, mindful, and has a true passion for tattooing. My husband and I both agreed that talking to Evan and Derrick during my session was like talking to old friends we’ve known for years. I’m definitely going to be getting a few more pieces from Evan while I’m living in Alaska. Thanks again to Evan and Derrick, you guys made our experience so fun!

Evan is the man. I was super nervous about getting my first “real” tattoo and he was very helpful and very welcoming. As soon as I walked in my nerves were gone. He’s super professional and you can tell he’s passionate about his work and making sure the customer is happy. Would recommend to anyone. 10/10
